Tom Tancredo (R.-Colo.), the top immigration hawk in the U.S. House of Representatives, won Human Events' monthly presidential straw poll for the
second month in a row.
Tancredo's landslide victory for the month of June seems to point to his strong stance on immigration reform. With 40.1% of the votes cast, the congressman appears to be the clear choice of conservatives if the presidential elections were held today.
Also of note, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich knocked Condoleezza Rice to third place, getting a respectable 14.9% to Rice's 10.1%.
