School Race Case Ends Justly

Why a school would be taking a student's race into consideration for anything is beyond me.

The Supreme Court on Thursday rejected school diversity plans that take account of students' race in two major public school districts but left the door open for using race in limited circumstances.

With so much talk about judging people's character, disregarding skin color and treating everyone equally, it's ironic how some people continue to try and create rifts between the races. If people would stop emphasizing skin color, perhaps the divisions would more quickly die away.

Here's a few more details.

I'm glad the Supreme Court did the right thing. The only people crying racism today are the ones who create it themselves.
