Senate Votes for Troop Withdrawal: 50-48 View All Capital Briefs Posts

There ya have it folks...

The Democrats can pat themselves on the back today but not for long.

It's difficult to believe how many of these political leaders don't see the danger in announcing one's intentions to the world. In the midst of a volatile international atmosphere, we impart treason on ourselves.

Oh well. Now we'll just wait for the veto.

May the names of these 50 people forever be associated with the meaning of coward and retreat. There was no way on earth that these people were going to see The President, their President your President, my President succeed in Iraq. Conservatives are going to WORK and church so have less time (inclination?) to be politically active.
I believe it is vital to our future that we succeed through strength in Iraq and other countries our troops are stationed. My dad fought, my son-in-law fights now and they deserve our support.
I say our new motto could be "Help them WIN, then bring them home" What do you think?

The "dangers" of announcing one's intentions to the world??? How about the dangers of recklessly swaggering one's way into the wasp nest in the first place? Face it, this administration has put us in peril and Bush has given no means of exiting unless his hand is forced. Finally, there is a majority that is backing a rather tepid timeline for withdrawal. It's something, but we really need to leave there NOW.

Now send the bill to our "Decider".After he vetoes it and complains that he needs funds for the war; send him the same exact bill again and again.Even he will eventually get the message. The American people want the troops home!!!

Now this is resembling Vietnam more and more. Nothing else did until we got to this point.

Then that is where it ends too. This enemy wants us dead, has vowed war against us in the 1970s, and I suppose the Democrats liked it when the muslims just kept attacking us and we did nothing - or next to it. They are giving in to Iran, Syria, Al Qaeda, Hamas, and Hezbollah. Now, why do they prefer the laughter from these groups and are so bothered by the laughter from cowards who think as they do - bury the head in the sand and it will all go away, oh er... it hasn't gone away... in fact those laughing French just had another riot from those nasty 'disaffected youth' (who really are muslims that the French are cowering to).
