After a stint with Republican Senate candidate Mike Bouchard in Michigan, Capitol Hill's top spokesblogger, David All, is back in the saddle at Rep. Jack Kingston's (R.-Ga.) office. His first order of business is getting Kingston elected chairman of the House Republican Conference.
Therefore, it wasn't surprising to get an e-mail from David this morning with a link to YouTube that featured Kingston. But when I went to watch the video this afternoon, YouTube shows an error message, and Kingston's blog says the video has been taken down for a change.
We really have no idea why the video disappeared, but we suspect David scrapped it so he could get Kingston's kids featured in the video. After all, Bouchard's ads with daughter Mikayla were some of the most innovative this cycle.
UPDATE -- 3:49 p.m.: A new link to YouTube is now available. We're told there was a spelling error in the old video.
The YouTube campaign is a good idea for Kingston. He's a great communicator, and I'm really split on the choice for Republican Conference chairman. Rep. Marsha Blackburn (R.-Tenn.) is a solid conservative who would be a nice addition to the Pence-Shadegg ticket, but at the end of the day, Kingston has the experience and has waited his turn.
