Connecticut's senior liberal Democratic Sen. Chris Dodd was on Imus this morning to discuss a range of political issues, with a focus on the elections and the war in Iraq.
During the conversation, Imus brought up the
disturbing passages from some of Democratic Virginia Senate candidate James Webb's novels. Imus asked Dodd whether these sexually explicit, perverse, incestuous, homosexual, pederast passages were a "legitimate concern" when voters pull the lever for senator of Virginia, deciding between Webb and GOP Sen. George Allen.
Dodd's answer: "No."
Why? It's just a novel. Voters don't really care about that.
Sure they don't, Sen. Dodd, sure they don't.
