More Congressmen Turning the Pages? View All Capital Briefs Posts

Fox News has reported that the Arlington Group, a coalition of more than 70 socially conservative organizations, has heard numerous whispers and rumors that more members of Congress will be outed in fashion of Mark Foley (R.-Fla.). These revelations, they say, will likely come to pass before the November elections -- a veritable cornucopia of rotten October Surprises.

Here's the interesting part: When asked to disclose more information on said rumors, the executive director of the Arlington Group declined to elucidate on specifics. Why?

The Arlington Group is a group of rock-solid conservatives. For them, it is surely politically advantageous to expose misbehaving Democrats -- and politically disadvantageous to expose Republicans.

If they won't give specifics on which members are in the mix, it becomes a very reasonable possibility that the soon-to-be outed lawmakers are mostly Republican.

Yikes.
