Michigan Republican Mike Bouchard, locked in a close race with liberal Sen. Debbie Stabenow, is on his way to becoming the GOP's most net-savvy candidate this cycle. Bouchard took another step in that direction today, releasing an ad with a direct appeal to bloggers. (Watch it here or below.)
Bouchard's embrace of Rightroots, the conservative answer to the left's successful netroots initiative, has translated into remarkable numbers for the fundraising effort. Bouchard was a late addition to the slate because of his primary race in Michigan, but that hasn't slowed him down. He's already raised $2,874 and topped the 100-donor mark.
But now that Bouchard has met his goal, do your part to help the other candidates meet theirs. Donating just $1 to all the candidates will put everyone over the top -- and give these candidates the financial resources they need.
