The National Enquirer, the supermarket tabloid that rarely covers politics, is taking a swing at Ann Coulter, calling her "The Most Hated Woman in America."
Writes Alexander Hitches in two-page spread in the Enquirer's June 26 edition:
Liberal-bashing blonde commentator Ann Coulter has turned herself into the most hated woman in America and should be tossed out the country after proclaiming a group of 9/11 widows are enjoying their husbands' deaths.
The Enquirer says the "verdict" was handed down by two 9/11 widows who didn't appreciate Coulter's criticism of the "
Jersey girls" who have used the tragic day as a political platform to attack President Bush.
Coulter's photo made the cover of the Enquirer and there's another picture of her on the inside page along with shots of critics Al Sharpton, Sen. Hillary Clinton and 9/11 widows.
The Enquirer is also taking a poll, asking its readers what they think about Coulter's criticism of the 9/11 widows.
