Shutdown Delays U.S.-EU Trade Negotiations (Reuters)

Thanks to the ongoing government shutdown, the United States has postponed free trade negotiations with the European Union. The U.S. government’s inactivity means that American officials could not travel to Brussels for next week’s second round of negotiations for the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership.
