The Associated Press reports that the United Kingdom is “urging U.K. nationals to immediately leave the Libyan city of Benghazi in response to an imminent threat against westerners.”

The Foreign Office has advised against all travel to Benghazi since September.

It said Thursday it is aware of a “specific and imminent threat” to westerners in Benghazi, eastern Libya, and urged all British nationals still there to leave immediately.

It would not comment on the nature of the threat.

Sounds like the sort of place a savvy Secretary of State would send a U.S. ambassador with absolutely no protection, despite his repeated requests for enhanced security.  We can only wonder what YouTube video the locals are riled up over.  Or maybe we should just ignore this news entirely.  After all, what difference does it make?
