Why is President Obama more interested in unfounded sexual allegations from the past in which no charges were ever filed nor an investigation opened than he is in creating jobs or touting his policy successes? and 3.) President Obama himself was accused of sexual improprieties while he was the editor of the Harvard Law Review that led to 2 young men quitting and receiving 5-figure settlements from the university.

If Cain is out during the primaries, then they never have to adress ANY of these questions, and they can still use the race card.

The major issue was killing the Obama plan in Ohio. There were also more republicans elected in Virginia. That means Obama has quite an uphill battle in Ohio, Florida and Virgina. It’s not looking good.

Okay…. perhaps ‘flip-flops’ is only occasionally accurate. Perhaps dissembles is a better term. For example, he took a position on global warming in which he said the Earth was warming, and he felt sure man was contributing to it, so we needed to do what was reasonable to reduce both pollution and green house gases whenever we could…..then followed that a couple of months later by saying there was not enough evidence to justify spending millions or billions on fighting global warming. The problem with that is you can look at either statement, and say it doesn’t REALLY fully contradict the other (depending on how you interpret what you think he meant), but rather than take a position he leaves himself open to ‘modify’ the interpretation depending on to whom he is speaking. He does this on a number of issues, and to someone who feels we need to go FAR FAR FAR to the right if we are going to have a prayer at saving this country, it has a slimy feel. It comes across to me as well-structured double talk…. and I’m sick and tired of well-structured double talk. I’m sure you feel differently, but I think there are many out there that feel the way I do, or his poll numbers would have risen about 28% rather than have the Tea Party Candidate flavor of the month pulling ahead until diminished for some reason or other.

My personal favorite among the current runners is Newt. And I know there are a lot out there that feel his personal baggage prevents him from being electable. But I’m concerned about fixing a country in rapid decline, and he is far and away the most qualified guy to do that running now.

I couldn’t care less about his Mormonism. If anything it speaks well for him. Given the Mormons I have personally known in my life, the indication to me would be that he will have a better than average tendency to make moral decisions.

First of all, I agree if Cain is indeed guilty then that would make the difference to me.  However, where is the evidence?  I understand your theory and by the way, you have been extremely clear in the conclusions you have drawn, but again where is the evidence?  You know what evidence is right?  Evidence, hum … that would be proof  Marcy.  If we go by your theory that just because a woman waits the amount of time Cain’s accuser has doesn’t mean that she is lying about experiencing sexual misconduct, then I would have to state that just because there are women coming forward accusing Cain of sexual misconduct, doesn’t mean he is guilty. Just because a corporation made a settlement does not mean his is guilty.  Until the records are open and everything comes out, do you really feel that is is the right thing to do to condemn the man based on sheer ignorant speculation and assumption on your part and the part of others who will not even give the man his God given right to innocence until proven guilty?  The fact remains Marcy and that is we just don’t know the facts.   You don’t know and neither do I, we were not there. Although there is little doubt in my mind that this was an orchestrated attempt to dispatch Mr. Cain as a contender as early as possible, i could not have known where to even look to draw the remarkable (albeit unsurprising) connections to these sudden claims against him, and the Chicago political machine.

Nope but Alan Keys had a lot of things going against him.

1)  He got into the race late because of the underhanded tactics the goons used to get Jack Ryan out of the race.

2)  He was NOT an Illinois resident and when he accepted the nomination, he had only a couple of days to find a residence and legally enter the race.  I would not have voted for anyone that had no experience in Illinois.

3)  Because of 2), he had no idea what was going on in half the interviews.

He was a poor candidate at best for the time.  I was very much let down by him that he even tried.

The women did come forward previously – even acknowledged by Cain in his statement about “severance packages”.  They were indeed settlements for actual sexual harrasment charges.  No matter his race, Cain has a pattern of aberrant behaviour.  People can try to sweep it aside, but it’s there in his history.  As part of the political process, he is up for scrutiny like all the rest of them.  Obama has not been given respect as President.  Yet he walked into a major mess left by the prior administration.  Cheney ripped off US taxpayers via Halliburton (no bid contracts for Iraw and Afghanistan) and its subsidiaries (oil interests – fracturing, etc.)  He gets riches by the minute.  Bush Jr. was elected because his family came from dirty oil Texas money.  He wasn’t qualified, but he had Rove and Cheney to make the decisions.  Cheney wouldn’t even meet with Joint Chiefs of Staff.  There was no ‘transparency’ and so much waste and driving up the national debt.  Obama has faults, but he’s a HELL of a lot better than the GOP choices.  Cain isn’t qualified and is a space holder only.  Go Dems!!!

WASHINGTON (AP) — A woman who settled a sexual harassment complaint against GOP presidential candidate Herman Cain
in 1999 complained three years later at her next job about unfair
treatment, saying she should be allowed to work from home after a
serious car accident and accusing a manager of circulating a sexually charged email, The Associated Press has learned.
Karen Kraushaar, 55, filed the complaint while working as a spokeswoman at the Immigration and Naturalization Service in the Justice Department in late 2002 or early 2003, with the assistance of her lawyer, Joel Bennett, who also handled her earlier sexual harassment complaint against Cain in 1999. Three former supervisors familiar with Kraushaar’s
complaint, which did not include a claim of sexual harassment,
described it for the AP under condition of anonymity because the matter
was handled internally by the agency and was not public.
To
settle the complaint at the immigration service, Kraushaar initially
demanded thousands of dollars in payment, a reinstatement of leave she
used after the accident earlier in 2002, promotion on the federal pay
scale and a one-year fellowship to Harvard’s Kennedy School of
Government, according to a former supervisor familiar with the
complaint. The promotion itself would have increased her annual salary
between $12,000 and $16,000, according to salary tables in 2002 from the
U.S. Office of Personnel Management.
Kraushaar told the AP she considered her employment complaint “relatively minor” and she later dropped it.
“The concern was that there may have been discrimination on the job and that I was being treated unfairly,” Kraushaar said.
Kraushaar
said Tuesday she did not remember details about the complaint and did
not remember asking for a payment, a promotion or a Harvard fellowship.
Bennett, her lawyer, declined to discuss the case with the AP, saying he
considered it confidential. Kraushaar left her job at the immigration
service after dropping the complaint in 2003, and she went to work at

Michelle Bachman is for everything I am for and she is the only one who is.  So as long as she is still in the race, I am going with her.  Herman Cain would make a good VP for her though.  I was raised that it is not a woman’s place to be in the “lead” position to include President.  But there is noone else who stands for all the change I would like to see in this nation but her! 

Don’t want Romney.  Perry, if he just happens to get elected, will need to know how to talk to other nation’s leaders and he can’t even talk at a debate, so I’m not feeling it w/him.  Even though Newt says some pretty clever stuff at the debates, I think he has been in Washington too long and can be swayed to the lefts way of thinking sometimes; i.e. compromise.  I want someone in the White House who will not compromise with the Democrats.  We have done everything their way for years, now it’s time for them to do things the conservative way!!  Especially since the nation is at a disasterous economic level!  I think at this point my candidate should be about cutting spending, not spending for a new program or anything else.  Michelle Bachman is that person for me.  Cutting taxes, cutting spending, and cutting the regulations that are killing our jobs/businesses!

The only other thing I would want of my candidate is to see to it that Congresses pay gets cut too by 40%! I haven’t heard Michelle Bachman say that, but that would definitely be the icing on the cake!

But you know what Tony?  You still have to pay taxes on that unemployment!  That was an eye opener for back in the late 80s when I had to draw unemployment for a few weeks.  When tax time came around and I found out I had to pay taxes on unemployment because it is considered an income, I changed my strategy of working.  Every time the place I worked was going to lay off, I went to the boss and asked to do anything so I didn’t have to draw unemployment.  I would sweep floors, take out trash and burn it, anything to just stay employed.  When I took that approach, my boss always kept me on so I could be working and drawing a paycheck.  I figure if I’m going to have to pay taxes, I might as well just be working and bringing home a little more money for it too!

P.S….Our Consitution says the only person that can be a President of the U.S. has to be a Natural Born citizens with the exception of the first Presidents of the U.S.(because the founding fathers knew that this would be impossible until a whole generation has passed) A sitizen of the U.S. is some one whom is born in the U.S. and its territories. A natural born citizen is some one who is born and whos parents are born in the U.S. and it’s territories. Romney parents were born in Mexico, like Obama, Romney can’t legally be the President of the U.S.. Unfortunatly this is some thing no one not even the media talks about. Their is a big difference between a born citizen and a natural born citizen. Do your search on the constitution and it’s admendments and the bill of rights.
