Ann Coulter Letter

Wingless, Bloodsucking and Parasitic: Meet the Flea Party!

So far, the only major accomplishment of the “Occupy Wall Street” protesters is that it has finally put an end to their previous initiative, “Occupy Our Mothers’ Basements.”

Oddly enough for such a respectable-looking group — a mixture of adolescents looking for a cause, public sector union members, drug dealers, criminals, teenage runaways, people who have been at every protest since the Berkeley Free Speech Movement, people 95 percent of whose hair is concentrated in their ponytails, Andrea Dworkin look-alikes and other average Democrats — they can’t even explain what they’re protesting.

The protesters either treat inquiries about their purpose as a trick question, or — worse — instantly rattle off a series of insane causes: “No. 1, abolish capitalism; No. 2, because 9/11 was an inside job; No. 3, because Mumia is innocent …”

Curiously, the only point universally agreed upon by the protesters and their admirers in the Democratic Party and the mainstream media is that “Occupy Wall Street” should be compared to the tea party. Yes, that would be the same tea party that has been denounced and slandered by the Democratic Party and the mainstream media for the lastthree years.

As a refresher: The Democratic National Committee called the tea partiers “angry mobs” and “rabid right-wing extremists.” ABC said they were a “mob.” CNN accused them of “rabble rousing.” Harry Reid called them “evil mongers.” Nancy Pelosi said they were “un-American.” CNN’s Anderson Cooper and every single host on MSNBC called the tea partiers a name that referred to an obscure gay sex act.

But apparently liberals couldn’t even convince themselves that tea partiers were an extremist group unworthy of emulation.

At least they’re embarrassed about what the OWS protesters really are: wingless, bloodsucking and parasitic. This is the flea party, not the tea party.

Contrary to all the blather you always hear about how lawless street protests and civil disobedience are part of the American tradition — “what our troops are fighting for!” — they are not. We are an orderly people with democratic channels at our disposal to change our government.

The very reason we have a constitutional republic is because of a mob uprising. Soon after the American Revolution, Shays’ Rebellion so terrified and angered Americans that they demanded a federal government capable of crushing such mobs.

For nearly 200 years, Americans understood that they lived in a country capable of producing bad politicians and bad policies, but that it was subject to change through peaceful, democratic means. There was no need to riot or storm buildings because we didn’t have a king. We had a representative government.

Even when injustice existed, there were constitutional mechanisms to right wrongs.
For nearly a century after the Civil War, congressional Republicans kept introducing bills that implemented the civil rights amendments — only to be blocked by segregationist Democrats. But then, attorney Thurgood Marshall came along and began winning cases before the Supreme Court, redeeming black Americans’ constitutional rights through the judiciary.

As long as a Republican sat in the White House, those victories were enforced. In 1957, President Dwight D. Eisenhower sent the 101st Airborne to Little Rock, Ark., to walk black children to school in defiance of the segregationist, Democratic governor of Arkansas, Orval Faubus — Bill Clinton’s friend.

This is what our Constitution was designed for: to use the force of the federal government to uphold the law when the states couldn’t (Shays’ Rebellion) or wouldn’t (segregationist Democrats).

If Richard Nixon had won the 1960 election instead of John F. Kennedy — as some say he did — there never would have been a need for Rosa Parks, the Freedom Rides and the rest of the civil disobedience of the civil rights movement.

But as soon as the Democrats got control of the White House, enforcement of the Supreme Court’s civil rights rulings came to a crashing halt. Elected Democrats in the states were free to violate legitimate constitutional rulings without interference from Democratic presidents.

The ingenious system given to us by our founding fathers faltered on the morally corrupt obstructionism of elected Democrats. They simply refused to abide by the rules — with glee at the state level, and at the federal level, cowardice.

Here, finally, was an appropriate case for nonviolent protest. There hasn’t been another justification for civil disobedience in this country until the Supreme Court invented a “right” to abortion in Roe v. Wade — another act of lawlessness by liberals.

(All this and more is detailed in the smash best-seller, “Demonic: How the Liberal Mobs Are Endangering America”!)

Now liberals compare their every riot, every traffic blockage, every Starbucks-window-smashing street protest to the civil rights movement –- which was only necessary because of them. These “Occupy Wall Street” ignoramuses seem to imagine they are blacks living in 1963 Alabama under Democratic governor George Wallace.

To the contrary, the Wall Street protesters have no specific objections and no serious policy proposals in a country that is governed, as Abraham Lincoln put it, “by the people.” They protest because they enjoy creating mayhem, not because the law is being ignored or their rights violated without penalty by government officials.

They are not in the tradition of the tea partiers, much less our founding fathers. They are not in the tradition of the civil rights movement or Operation Rescue. They are in the tradition of Shays’ Rebellion, the Weathermen and Charles Manson.

What happened to 2 on 1? He disappeared as soon as sugar showed up. Coincidence? I think not.

You want the scripture you hate the most, Nazi? Here goes as by your request….

And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

    And even as they did not like to retain God in [their] knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,

Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:

Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things

  • Accuweatherman

Nobody is much more interested in your “personal” information. We already know you are stupid, semi-literate, rude, repetitive, self-important, not particularly educated and predictable. What else is there to know?

  • sirguywilson

And, if you research the “Peace Democrats” of the 1860′s, you will find that those who were once for the freeing of slaves when it was expedient, were the same who flip-flopped, threw the slaves “under the bus” and in protest against the Northern draft incited riots inwhich fires burned down Conscription offices, businesses were looted and several died to mob violence!  For a moment there I thought I was describing Post 9/11 Democrats who for expediency publicly voted for the “war against terrorism”, and 2 years later were found arguing with the media against the effort as wasteful, unwarranted and a ruse of the oil-wealthy to capitalize on higher gas prices. Patrick Henry would have called them out for treason!!!
I think these wolves in sheep’s clothing were known as “Tories” during the Revolution.

You’ll find that he does more damage to himself than you can do to him.

It was funny that night when he dug his own hole deeper and deeper the more he tried to improve his lies.

Flagged for uncontrollable and “shoot from the hip” bullying hatespeech……we always knew it was in ya…..because in reality “out of the abundance of your heart….your mouth speaks”…..yep, you are legit hatemonger….unprovoked and raw……..on the road to Perdition….mouthing off in utter contempt…..and a laughingstock loser.

    LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!ALegitHater!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

True but his attempt at bullying required me to publicly mock him. He is an easy mark and quite mentally weak. I must watch I don’t overly humiliate the fool.

    “you tail”??? “you hobby”????

You gettin all worked up, are ya Nazi?

Yes. But his obvious stupidity raise clinical issues. Could this be an insight into the deranged pathology of the contemporary liberal mind ? Maybe this is a cry for help?

  • 1LonesomeDove1

Well, don’t attack me….show me the fault in the scripture.

It convicts you and homosexuality, but you hate the Bible anyway, so why blame me for what it says?

You’re a Jew hating Nazi, and always will be. I’d say you’re a bully, but…..well, you’re too stupid to be a threat to anyone.

    LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Accuweatherman

An interesting and deranged reply. We see the continued obsession with homosexuality. The references to holy matters are frankly disturbing. Is he a child playing out rebellion or is there a case to consider possession?

You have been removed essentially by your own undoing…..you’ve come unhinged and are irrelevant to the thread now…only left with spouting hatespeech……Moderators don’t have to be involved (but they are)…..your own hateful mouth has convicted you as an extraneous tool and completely useless…….LD….no one listens to your pabulum entrenched rants anymore…..you’re a hateful laughingstock.

  • Paul Earth A.D.

It’s more of a cry of pain if you ask me.

He’s angry at all of us because he’s not clever enough to tell a lie that we can’t bust him on.

The last two lies he told were so obvious that he nearly burst into tears, and this is what he’s been like ever since…….all attack mode and hateful.

All this just because his cult leader was rejected here 7 months ago when he tried to make us join his cult of Holocaust hoax belief, and Jew hate.

    We spat him out.

Good post, James. But the “B—–t” comment damages your credibility and integrity, just as Boomerangs thrown with your eyes closed come back to hit you! Research Democratic presidents from FDR forward and you will find that they were religious for show, without biblical principles, phonies, liars, even some
ADULTERORS(FDR,Clinton, Kennedy). The Kennedy’s were rich from CRIMES during prohibition, but the media made them into “royalty”. Clinton’s Arkansas days read as a Peyton Place meets Stalin-gate, but he came to Washington virtually unknown for his track record. FDR vacationed, weekended and hit the spas, too often without Eleanor, to have been faithful. If the mainstream media were not a liberal propaganda machine, these men would never found their way to the White House!

  • 1LonesomeDove1

    And like I said, you’re a successful Nazi queer….shugaFagot.

  • Guest

You’ve known for a long time that if you use the “f” word you’re going to get flagged….and yet you taunt the thread….using more and more recklessly…which is a sure sign that you’be become unhinged and want to push the envelope……I hope they teach you an “appy” lesson here in Annville…..

  • Accuweatherman

Is it the “Word Salad” again, Shugawhatever? What’s in the “Word Salad”? Sentences, thoughts, coherence….and other thing you struggle to express.

  • 1LonesomeDove1

He has a dyslexic reading problem. We type coherently, but he reads it in word salad form. That’s why he”s such a frustrated little Nazi.

  • Accuweatherman

Do you imagine you live in Annville? Do you imagine you have friends there? A family? A future? Are others “unhinged” while you—and you alone are normal and protecting the thread. What was your relationship like with your mother?

  • 1LonesomeDove1

So, let’s see….you can call me a failed father, and failed husband, but I can’t call you a successful fagot?

Does Human Events know about your one sided Nazi rules?

  • Accuweatherman

He honestly might be schizoid or schizophrenic. I’m actually trying to see if he needs help.

You coward…..always playing the “goading” card…..as if you’re not responsible for your own actions…..that, little man is a sure sign of a loser.  It’s always some one elses fault that you became unhinged……man up you coward…..take repsonsiblity….don’t whine and cry that you were “goaded”……you used the “f” word directed at me…..and haven’t been on the thread in two days….that’s why you got flagged……

    LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!CreepyLittleCowardLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • 1LonesomeDove1

Homosexuality is an abomination to God, and if you get your heart right with God, that sin will be forgiven of you and it will go away.

God will also help you with these lies you spread about innocent people who get tired of your constant stalking and attacks.

  • ChefM

So the narcissist is still blabbering the same nonsense thinking people care whether they get flagged or not.

Been seeing a therapist for the paranoid schizophrenic issues we’ve discussed in the past?

Good for you. The first step towards getting better, is admitting you have a problem. Now you can move to the next step.

Now let it all out. I’m listening……………………….Now you have two you can discuss your paranoia with.

    Feel better now?…………..Good…………..

  • 1LonesomeDove1

Stop goading people so you can flag them, and I’ll stop saying you goad people so you can flag them. Easy enough for you, or do I need to write it in big crayon words for ya?

And this lie that you haven’t been here when you were just posting as 2_on_1? God will help you repent of lies like that if you only fall to your knees and ask Him.

Flagged for mouthing a hate screed…..unnecessary and inappropriate….unprovoked and unwarranted…..pure and unadulterated hate speech……and has no place among decent people.

  • 1LonesomeDove1

He’s gone berserk ever since TDO and I busted him on those last two monumental lies he told. I’ve never seen such a shugaTantrum in all my life.

  • Wannabyaduck

Is America finally waking up to what liberalism is all about? We can only hope so! The Flea Party ((thanks Ann) however misguided and dumbed down by the public school system and irresponsible parents, still vote! And that thought alone should serve as an alarming wake up call to all clear-thinking folks in this once great country. Before I leave! Thanks to Hank Jr.! Hang in there! You are needed now as never before.

  • 1LonesomeDove1

That’s OK, cause I’m flagging yours as well, and you made yours first.

    HE will read both, shugaNazi.

  • Guest

You use the “f” word you’ll be flagged everytime…..it will get you booted….you’ve been warned.

  • sirguywilson

My bad! I should have stated that bullying, censorship, name-calling and homosexual innuendo are, more accurately, the only ways for you to save face.  Your inability to make a cogent argument of your political positions may be causing you to experience frustrations which you are misdirecting outwardly as other-centered contempt  or hostility. All saber-rattling aside, 007,  Jesus came to heal the sick, not the well. And He is not a respecter of one person over another. So, I invite you to come to Him…as you are.
    God bless you!

  • Guest

Thank you for not using the “f” word….you know the consequences….you’re smartened up……

  • Accuweatherman

I have solved the mystery. Shugawhatever deliberately imitates the writing style of Louis Ferdinand Celine, an important French writer…..and Nazi collaborator. This is telling. Shuga indeed fancies himself a Nazi. Celine was also bisexual. Shuga is probably a homosexual. His use of the moniker ShugaRay is a struggle between his desire to be a woman (Shuga) but to be macho(sugar-ray).

  • ChefM

he’s back to his fagging……er, I mean flagging again as if it’s some kind of credible threat people actually care about. LMAO!!!!

This dolt has been busted more times with his blatant lies, and uses the flag button as some kind of weapon. Bwhahahahahahahaha……sorry, just came out………….bwhahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!

  • 1LonesomeDove1

Yeah, don’t use the “F” word and call the shugaNazi a “F”ailed father, or a “F”ailed husband or he’ll “F”lag you for using his own Nazi tactics against him…..the disgusting Nazi hypocrite.

Ann, I usually agree with you, and certainly with all you wrote in this column — all but one point.  You are incorrect to include Daniel Shays with the rabble.  As a resident of Western Mass. I have learned that Daniel Shays is considered a hero among the old Yankee families who still farm the land.  Read a little more about it and you will discover that these veterans of the Revolutionary War were paid for their services in script, which soon became nearly worthless after the war (the Continental Congress refused to raise taxes to pay for this obligation). The bankers were foreclosing on their farms, mortgages on which, the farmers planned to pay off with their earnings as soldiers.  A little research and you will understand their anger which culminated in the rebellion.   derekcrane

  • 1LonesomeDove1

By Jove I believe you have it!!!!!

  • Accuweatherman

I think I do, too. Now that I know his identity, I can’t help but feel a little bit sorry for him. He really needs to consider going away because I’ll hold this over his head. Goodbye, Shuga….and good luck.

  • 1LonesomeDove1

You’re absolutely right, Derek….and I always did sympathize with Shay, but I don’t think that was the point Ann was making. Good post though, and historically on the mark.

  • Guest

I can prove you’re a failure at all of the above. Instead of spending quality time with those you love at home…..you chose to indulge all your time wallowing in the idiocy of your hapless hateful “hobby” here in CyberVille.

It cost you everything……you can’t get it back….you threw it all away for a measly bowl of porridge….. just so you could spew hatescreeds and nonsense like ribbons to the sky here in the ethers of Annville.

An Esau moment if ever there was one.

  • 1LonesomeDove1

He won’t leave. He’s always here though he doesn’t always post.

This is the reason he’s not all that welcome on the Buchanan Reich anymore. He got on their nerves as well.

  • ChefM

    Consequences?  What would those be????

  • 1LonesomeDove1

     LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You’re a funny little Nazi in your own little way, I guess. Thinking you got it all figured out when you struggle to understand the least of points made by your opponents…..of which you have many….and probably a few at home, if you have a home.

  • 1LonesomeDove1

I wonder what he does for a living that he can be here this late at night stalking and harassing people.

Coulter is out of touch with everything but selling books, and the unwitting sheep that buy into her inane diatribes are witless victims who should learn to think for themselves.  Coulter besmirches reality with her descriptions of the Wall Street occupiers.  If she knew anything, she would know that the real mob reside in the hallowed buildings on Wall Street- home of the robber-barons who continue to choke and squeeze Main street and and the poor alike .

  • Accuweatherman

Shuga…ray…it’s over. You have been seamlessly exposed as a Nazi and a homosexual by my forensic investigation. You are a student of Celine who was both. I find Celine to be annoying. Your writing is annoying to my aesthetics. You must go away or face daily humiliation and exposure. Everyone is going to compare your adopted style to Celine and reach no other conclusion. You also want to be a woman. That is obvious from your “bitchiness” and moniker. Respect yourself and leave. You were an interesting specimen but I’m growing tired of you.

  • ChefM

Lady of the evening??? Just a guess!!! LMAO!!!

See my suggestion to him below. Will he respond ?

  • 1LonesomeDove1

I was thinking this way, and for myself years before Ann was born, and we all know the left writes and sells their books for free, huh?

John Kerry enjoys the Heinz fortune which is traded on Wall Street. Has he pulled out of that den of sin yet?

    LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Watch it now. You know we aren’t allowed to insult the shugaBaby while he’s allowed to say whatever he wants.

  • ChefM

I asked what consequences, and he hasn’t responded.

I can hear it now. Shuga is probably on the phone with 911 like the lady who called 911 on a McDonalds for being out of fries. LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello…………911 operator?……………………I have this problem with people calling me names on a blog website!!!!!!!…Please help, they are right, but……..but……it hurts my feelings!!!!

If you don’t do something quick………..I…..I….I will do something drastic…………….I’ll do it……..I mean it…………you asked for it……………..”FLAG”……………….There…………I warned you………………..Now you are in trouble…………………

  • Accuweatherman

Quite wrong. Your overwrought attempt to be witty was only wordy. I’m comfortable with my brokerage house and have made a decent supplement through Wall Street. I’m Main Street, a small business owner and you are a tiresome ignorant bore.

  • 1LonesomeDove1

That’s what probably got him picked up and put away the last time. It’s obvious that he’s half a buggy off the farm.

  • Guest

Well, I can see you’re worthless and inept….coming unglued and flailing hatescreeds recklessly and without provocation. After almost FOUR THOUSAND posts of innocuous nonsense, homophobia and hatred, you’ve resorted to base, vile and debauched homophobic hate speech….

Take responsibility for your own idiotic actions….I’ve tried to give the heads up….but because you are a failure at everything you lay your hands to….I can’t expect you to rise to the occasion. Your hateful “hobby” takes precedence over everything….even to the point of you neglecting your love ones…..how can you sleep at night knowing of all your betrayals.

Sounds like a reasonable forecast on his misguided trek through his land of unicorns. LOL!!!

  • 1LonesomeDove1

Yeah, she’s only human, and while I still don’t think that was the point she was making, I gave her column a quick read this time. I may have not picked up on it so I’ll read it again and see.

Yo David Sepulvada:  Those Wall Street robber-barons couldn’t do their dirty without the active assistance of Washington politicians.  Obama received $15 million from Wall Street donors in the 2008 election cycle — do you think they gave him that money because they liked his smile?

  • ChefM

I would have to agree. The she wannabe acts like a little girly bitch. threatening to flag those who he/she disagrees with and cries when the truth is told.

Is anyone really afraid to be flagged on a blog site? LMAO!!!!  Even banned??? There are thousands of others, and by the looks of his/her posts, I think they will look at the source and just have a good laugh.

  • Guest

Thank you for not using the “f” word in your screed……like I said….you know the consequences for such a breach (being banned or made a laughingstock)……keep up the good work…..decent people everywhere applaud you…..you’ve been smartened up….

  • 1LonesomeDove1

They only moderate the threads when they’re new and most active with public posting. They rarely remove posts this late at night.
As far as banning goes, I believe you have to make actual threats before that happens.

Human Events is run by adults who realize that dialogue here gets heated, and names get thrown around. I don’t believe they bother themselves with petty quarrels and deciding which insult is worse than the other.

  • Guest

You’re a loser…..that’s why you meander aimlessly through the streets of Annville….paranoid, truncated and very “sawed off.”……..I think the “little woman” is the one who really did the “sawing” though.

  • ChefM

That’s the operative word…………..”adult”……………..This fool throws insults at everyone, then threatens the flag, or that we will be banned or the laughing stock, or discredited, as if he is some authority………That is funny……..LMAO!!!

The she wannabe thinks she’s queen of Annville, and we all know there is only one queen here.

Discredited, laughing stock/…………too funny. Shuga does that to him.herself with every post.

Keep using the “f” word and accept the consequences here at H.E. All your pontificating and excuses can’t cancel out your vile use of hatescreeds to make you points. It is the sign of a colossal failure of intellect and reason…..of which you are sorely lacking in both departments.

  • ChefM

Exactly, that’s why I decided to play the game. See how long it takes for me to be banned!!!!!!!!!!!!

You really are afraid of them, aren’t you, Ann? Afraid that they may be right, and you are wrong. “First they ignored us, then they ridiculed us, then they fought us, then we won.” Gandhi. The country is being destroyed by your friends. You should now start to write, ‘The Decline and Fall of the American Empire.” It won’t be too much longer before your friends finally destroy what was once a great country. Unless the OWS protesters you ridicule win.

  • 1LonesomeDove1

Four thousand posts? 90% of your 3228 posts here have been filthy language attacks against people you hate.
Would you like for me to post them here? I can, and every one can read them for themselves if I do.

You can call it what you want, but I stand with God that homosexuality is an abomination to Him. It’s you who stands with the Devil…..word salad brain.

Just like your cult leader the Jew hating NaziJoeSexualPervert7Lousy you attack people’s families trying to make them lose control so you can get them banned. You’re a snake, shugafag, and I’ll call you that name whenever you make lying remarks about my family life that you know nothing about.

Never seen a Nazi who didn’t act just like you do. What a shame that you guys had to bring your murder and hate to this world. Millions dead because of you Holocaust denying, Jew hating monsters.

  • Guest

Yes….you’re flagged…..no one has the right or even good reason to use that word directed at posters here at Human Events……it is beyond the line of appropriate discourse……it has been archived…you can’t change it…..however, in good conscience I hope you are convicted and repent of your filthy retort.  An apology would suffice.

  • ChefM

I don’t know how many time you have been told that your threats are a joke.  haven’t you realized by now that you mean nothing here, and that this is a blog website………….not the real world. getting banned is not a big deal, and flagging is even more laughable……………..

Don’t give a, foolish, freaking, faggot, flying fuck……………………….Now head to bed junior…………….You’ve been fagged……………………………ROFLMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • 1LonesomeDove1

Yet you allow yourself the right to attack people’s families………ya forked tongued snake.

Ya see Shuga, you bring out the best in me. Thanks.

    Great stress relief………………….

  • Bill

    Lonesome,

I don’t hate you or any of my fellow Americans, nor do I wish to see them dead. Sarcasm is merely a tool used to make you think.  Sort of like a gun is merely a tool. Guns don’t kill people, people kill people.

What I dislike is all of the division. All this polorization that keeps us apart. You can call me a commie, or a liberal, or a socialist that wants to kill rich peole and take their money, but all of that is simply untrue.

My beleifs are fairly straight forward, and like many Americans, fall somewhere in the middle. If you feel the need to demonize me, you’ll find it won’t work. I’m not the devil, I don’t wish you harm, I’m not a commie, I’m not out to take your gun and put you in a re-education camp and make you drive a Prius.

  • lessasramouth

And I find you a childish self hating uneducated wanna be some one with no clue about the harsh realities of life. Smearing us is all you got get a job preferably in a library . I would rather be an illiterate trash talking foul mouthed and basically ignorant then a self hating anti American liberal.

  • ^TDO^

    Actually,

A lot of us like calling the OWS people the pee party.  Or the fleapee party.

    Your choice.

  • Bill

The fallen hedge fund billionaire Raj Rajaratnam received the longest prison sentence ever for insider trading on Thursday, a watershed moment in the government’s aggressive two-year campaign to root out the illegal exchange of confidential information on Wall Street.
Judge Richard J. Holwell sentenced Mr. Rajaratnam, the former head of the Galleon Group hedge fund, to 11 years in prison and fined him $10 million and ordered him to forfeit $53.8 million. A jury convicted Mr. Rajaratnam of securities fraud and conspiracy in May after a two-month trial.
Calling him “the modern face of illegal insider trading,” prosecutors accused Mr. Rajaratnam of using a corrupt network of well-placed tipsters — including former executives of Intel, I.B.M. and the consulting firm McKinsey & Company — to illicitly gain about $70 million.
“Insider trading is an assault on the free markets,” Judge Holwell said. “His crimes reflect a virus in our business culture that needs to be eradicated.”

  • 1LonesomeDove1

Just like accusations and protests by the left against the right about a presumed armed revolt (that was never voiced in the street) as being un-American, while being hypocritically silent about an actual leftist call for armed revolution in the street which is happening now……..is familiar to us.

  • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_JGE5HJ3ZVF542AGKIJPPVKQA5Y M Talam

Let’s compare definitions to see the difference on how different protests define themselves; you decide. *TEA party = Taxed Enough Already *Occupy = as in Occupy Wall Street … 1. to take or fill up (space, time, etc.): I occupied my evenings reading novels. 2. to engage or employ the mind, energy, or attention of: Occupy the children with a game while I prepare dinner. 3. to be a resident or tenant of; dwell in: We occupied the same house for 20 years. 4. to take possession and control of (a place), as by military invasion. 5. to hold (a position, office, etc.). (definition taken word for word from on-line source – not edited or changed)

  • lessasramouth

    I should have known

  • Bill

    Lonesome,

I don’t believe the majority of the protesters want to violently overthrow the establishment and don Mao hats. Just because a few spout thwe age old commie mantra, doesn’t mean the rest of the crowd is behind them. People are upset.

Do I think the majority of the tea party is racist?   No. People tell you what to believe, and you hear what you want to hear.

  • Bill

I actually get paid to think.

  • ^TDO^

    Personally, I find it ridiculous.

    Prohibition here we come.

Ann Coulter should go to the OWS protest and interview the protesters.
Victoria  Jackson did. Ann has no guts, it seems.

  • 1LonesomeDove1

Make me think about what, Bill? About how to not listen to your opponent, and avoid his points like you do?

You can claim to dislike the division all you want, but your criticism is directed at only one side here, and I call you a liberal, or a socialist that wants to kill rich people and take their money because you refuse to take a stand against this obvious Constitutional violation against America that’s going on now.

What you’re doing instead is coming here and pointing your hypocrite finger at us while refusing to be an equal opportunity thought provoker.

You’re a phony, and I’m not the only one who knows it…..including you.

You know the libs, welfare recipients would hate it because they would have skin in the game as well, and you they like they are entitled to our money and not work, piss test, or anything for it.

  • ^TDO^

    Bill,

That is all BS.  You come here to demonize people.  When called short on it, all of a sudden, you are a protector of the 2nd amendment, love the capitalist system, believe in God, etc.

Nonsense.  Your ‘sarcasm’ gives life to your beliefs and lie to your assertions above.  Since you aren’t a pimple on the butt of Ann Coulter when it comes to sarcasm, why don’t you try speaking plain?

See the problem I have with you Bill is that you only use your sarcasm against conservatives.  I have yet to see you use it against the liberals other than as a high 5 to them.  You are NOT a moderate until you prove it.

    It is sad really.

  • StanW

Every Liberal I have ever met thinks that they are perfectly in the middle of American politics, when the fact of the matter is that most of them are so far Left that they think Michael Moore is a right-winger.

When they do that, come back and tell me what a banged-up job the justice system is doing.

  • Bill

Maybe the Republicans should co-opt the OWS movement and say ‘see, this is what voting Democrat gets you’

A president who runs to the UN to file a human rights charge against an American State for upholding the immigration laws.  You name it they have done it, yes crooks have always been in business and always will be.  Check out the green operations that have received billions and don’t exist anymore.  Paying for votes and donations is common place in this administration.

    The Occupiers: Pathetic Becomes Perilous

Choose your variation: There’s nothing surer: The rich get richer and the poor get—poorer/children/laid off.  Whatever you pick, the line may be considered one of the slogans of the Occupy Wall Street demonstrators.
When those protests against everything began a month ago, most outside observers viewed them with a mixture of bemusement and bewilderment.  They have rapidly devolved into a source of disenchantment, disgust, and now fear.
At first, what little focus they had seem centered on the people President Barack Hussein Obama called the Wall Street “fat cats.”  They’ve widened their scope beyond greed.
A LaLa Land demonstrator revealed that new vista when he announced at an Occupy Los Angeles rally that violence and bloodshed will become necessary components of the Left Coast occupation.
Rejecting Gandhian non-violence, the unidentified, heavily-accented speaker lectured his excited audience on his revolutionary model, the French Reign of Terror.  He concluded, “So, ultimately, the bourgeoisie won’t go without violent means.  Revolution! Yes, revolution that is led by the working class.  Long live revolution! Long live socialism!”
See and hear his call for insurrection here: http://bit.ly/nH1wBA
The failure of the Occupiers to recognize that Washington, not bankers, was the primary cause of the sub-prime mortgage crisis which precipitated our Great Recession and most of the Occupiers’ grievances could be dismissed as merely pathetic.  This new wrinkle is disturbing.
As the New York demonstrations grew and began to spread nationwide, other complaints came to the fore, especially the moans of mostly young college dropouts and graduates burdened with sometimes massive student debt who demanded some succor.  Their demands, to date, haven’t been accompanied by calls for revolution.
The nature of that relief by demonstrating students and their fellow victims of societal inequities remains unclear: jobs, loan payments, housing, better jobs, loan forgiveness, penthouses?  The point all the protestors seem to miss is that God–and taxpayers–help those who help themselves and bitching, disrupting, and doing little else don’t come close to constituting self-help.
When Brookfield Office Management, the incredibly tolerant (and very rich) owners of the epicenter of the Occupiers’ revolt, Zuccotti Park, send in their workers Friday morning to scrub their property after weeks of occupation, push will come to shove.  The place has to be vacant.
The hopelessly ineffectual Mayor Bloomberg has finally ordered the protestors out for sanitary reasons and unless they want to get their first baths in weeks with powerwashers, the protestors must be gone to allow Brookfield to remove everything remaining–their tarps, their filthy clothing, their garbage, their used condoms, and their excrement.
Should the New York radical contingent resist what they suspect is a permanent expulsion from Zuccotti and adopt the Left Coast call for bloody revolution, the Occupy Wall Streeters may some day be regarded as the anarchists who brought America down.

  • ^TDO^

Do you really think I will never have an answer for you?

  • Liberty_Clinger

Marxism establishes so-called classes of peoople within their perverted societies. The American Revolution abolishes artificial “classes” of people – because all men are created equal  – because all people naturally possess equal unalienable God-given rights to life, liberty and fruit of labor in pursuit of happiness – irregardles of skin color or any other differences between them.

BTW, many of these OWS protesters are lazy, drug-smoking, government-created proletarian Marxists who desire the fruit of other people’s labor - willing to use subversion or violence to get it. Tea Party protesters are sober, hard-working, nature-created middle class Americans who only desire to keep the fruit of their own labor – not the fruit of other people’s labor.

“We all declare for liberty; but in using the same word we do not all mean the same thing. With some the word liberty may mean for each man to do as he pleases with himself, and the product of his labor; while with others, the same word may mean for some men to do as they please with other men, and the product of other men’s labor. Here are two, not only different, but incompatible things, called by the same name – liberty. And it follows that each of the things is, by the respective parties, called by two different and incompatible names – liberty and tyranny.”  Abraham Lincoln

Well bill, this might be the reason for your not being at Buchanan, but I would ask you to try and recognize the difference between us and them to where you can stop bringing up the KKK nonsense and unfounded association accusations when you should be able to figure out for yourself that if we were truly what you implied we were, then we would neither be hated by those  KKK sympathizers, nor would we fight them like we do…..and without your help I would add.

I really believe you dislike the Tea Party. And instead of fighting real fascism on Buchanan, you try to attach it to us and fight it here on what you see as an easier battle ground, just like mikie does.

BTW, bill……while much has been said in the way of insults and such, I don’t really believe these OWS kids are all out-of-work, tattooed, drug smoking Communists out to kill me and steal my money.
I just believe they’re young and dumb….the most gullible of society to whom a well organized smaller group is speaking and influencing in order to make this movement look like anything but what it is. Another means to bring America closer to being a socialist nation.

People like you don’t want to believe that this type of faction exists on your side of the fence, because the leftist media doesn’t want you to, and that media is the one which pre-chews your news diet for you. The one which you grew up with.

See Stan, what punks like Mike and the rioters in NY who are threatening violent revolution don’t understand is this:  Regardless of what the pissant politician generals tell them to do, the military will stand against them, I know this to be true.  Our oath is first and foremost to the Constitution. They have a couple hundred thousand people who are used to facing down IEDs and AK47s that they will have to get through before they even get to the real enemy, the hardened veterans sitting in their kitchens reloading .308s into casings.  Violent revolution?  They don’t know violence, but they will.

Try and understand this bill….might be hard I know, but try……..we are for the Constitution. People who steal into this country illegally have “violated” the Constitution. We’re not really compatible either morally, or ideologically, and it really wouldn’t matter if they were German or Irish.

LD, I don’t disagree with you on the young and naive (dumb?) charge, and I’m sure that if these folks had jobs, they’d be too tired to protest. First off, you got this from CNN. Look at their ratings and that pretty much puts them at less than credible with the average citizen.

Second, the Tea Party did not align themselves with the Republican party,  Some in the Republican party aligned themselves with the Tea Party.

What is the Tea Party about? That’s simple. Smaller Government, Less spending, strong National defense, Balanced budget, less regulations on small businesses, you know, things that made this country great.

The Tea Party is for the US Constitution, and wants to hold anyone accountable for not upholding their oath to protect and defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic.

The Tea Party is non-Partisan as much as you want to deny it, you can’t with any real credible proof.

The Tea Party goes after those who do not follow the Constitution, whether it be a Republican or Democrat.

The Tea Party has a clear message and a clear agenda, and are willing to follow the laws of the Republic to get to the end goal.

The OWS has no clear message or agenda, unless you consider violence and destruction as a clear message and agenda.

Ask a Tea Party member why they are at a Tea Party Rally, and you will get a definitive answer. Ask an OWS protester, and most will either not know, but figured it was something to do, or they will have answers that are so different than the person right next to them.

The Tea Party has been self sufficient from the very first rally. This means people would think ahead, and plan for porta potties, hotel or motel rooms, legal camping, etc…

OWS is destructive, violent, filthy obstructionists, who could care less about their fellow citizens.

The world is no doubt watching, and looking at how bad this progressive President has made things in such a short time in office. His transparency became the corruption exposed, his hope became, we hope he goes away before more destruction. His change meant to change this country into a Socialist European style Democracy, and get rid of a system that made us the greatest, most successful, most envied, experiment in the worlds history.

The Democrats of today are the Progressives of yesterday. Stuck in a time before we became civilized.

Hold on everyone, I’ll be back soon, I have to go take a davidblaine real bad.

    Cain and Able?

This week, the GOP candidates who are recognized by the media once again gathered for another debate — this one hosted by Bloomberg News and the Washington Post. And everyone sat around a table, which was neat! And all of the questions had to do with the economy, which was substantive! And Rick Perry had gotten himself a bunch of naps, which was … okay, well, it wasn’t anything. It amounted to nothing. Rick Perry was terrible.
There was all sorts of hot talk from the cheap seats. Newt Gingrich wanted to put Barney Frank in jail. Jon Huntsman told some poorly delivered jokes that made everyone feel awkward. There was a gigantic screen, upon which Ronald Reagan reached out of the past to address the present. Rick Santorum wanted more questions. Rick Perry wanted more sleep. Michele Bachmann invoked Satan. And at some point during the evening, part of Ron Paul’s face started to melt away, like he was a living, breathing Salvador Dali painting that hated Alan Greenspan.
But after all the cacophony had subsided, there were two things everyone remembered. First: once again, Mitt Romney had made it through another debate without any of his opponents landing a punch on him. Second: “9-9-9.” Actually, the third, fourth, fifth, and sixth things everyone remembered after that were “9-9-9.” Then the Michele Bachmann Satan stuff.
Oh! And Charlie Rose said, “I believe in tables.” One has to imagine that after spending an evening with the GOP contenders, most people would feel like it was the table that they could believe in.
On the strength of essentially holding serve, however, the race underwent another shift in the pecking order, and the new, new, new shape of the race is, for the moment, very simple. Herman Cain versus Mitt Romney, who you got?
Cain was well into a significant resurgence at this time last week, but forty-eight hours after the debate had ended, Cain reached a milestone — poll after poll declaring him the frontrunner. He was up on Romney in two national polls, and leading or contending in every early primary state. We were full of scoff when it seemed last week that the Godfather’s Pizza CEO might squander his opportunity by quitting the contest to go on a book tour, but now, it looks like Cain is rethinking that approach. What makes Cain particularly compelling is that he’s already been through a surge and a subsequent fade from view. But he’s the first of the not-Romney candidates to actually surge back. He’s got what Rick Perry wants and Michele Bachmann desperately needs — a second look. And some of the folks that are kicking Cain’s tires are the kind of GOP names that you boldface.
Cain will have to hope that his second shot comes with more than just new pals and renewed media attention, however, because Mitt has Cain beat in the place that matters most — the wallet. One of the reasons that political observers aren’t writing articles about Cain’s “path to the nomination” is simple: he doesn’t have enough money to walk that path at the moment, let alone mount a national campaign. Romney, on the other hand, is raising mad bank. (Perry is too, which is why he’s not going away either, despite his regrettable debate performances.) More importantly, Romney won the favor of last week’s darling, Chris Christie — and there are few endorsements that come with more benefits.
This is how Kevin Drum sizes up the state of Romney’s candidacy:
First we had Romney vs. Trump, then Romney vs. Bachmann, then Romney vs. Perry, and now we have Romney vs. Cain. Remember Joe Louis’ Bum of the Month club? That’s what the Republican primary campaign looks like this year.
Sounds about right, and with the early primaries slowly getting earlier and earlier, Cain doesn’t have that much time to play rope-a-dope.
Elsewhere in the race, the candidates who didn’t get into the debates all at least managed to get into the YouTubes. Meanwhile, Michele Bachmann had to fend off reports that her campaign was cratering and Jon Huntsman’s daughters stole the spotlight from their father. Barack Obama looked to the locked-out NBA for an analogy, Rick Santorum looked to reporters for conversation, Buddy Roemer looked to Occupy Wall Street for inspiration, and Rick Perry hasn’t yet won over some of Vegas’ dicier denizens. For all of this and more, please feel free to enter the Speculatron for the week of October 14, 2011.

  • Tony_Seco

Walker will Walk for being all Talk!

MADISON, Wis. — Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, who forced public workers to pay more for their pensions as part of a push to curb union rights, broke his campaign promise to pay the full cost of his state pension immediately after taking office in January.
The Associated Press requested copies of the governor’s pay stubs to see if he had fulfilled the campaign promise he made in June 2010. Walker said then he would begin paying the cost immediately in order to lead by example since he was proposing all state employees do the same.
“As governor, I’ll pay my share toward my retirement because everyone should pay their own way, including me,” Walker said during the campaign.
Lt. Gov. Rebecca Kleefisch made the same pledge and also didn’t pay as promised.
Walker’s pay stubs provided Friday in response to the AP’s open records request made in September had details about his pension payments redacted. But Walker’s spokesman Cullen Werwie said the governor did not start paying the full cost until August, when the state law he pushed required elected officials and other state employees to contribute more.
The requirement that state workers pay their 5.8 percent contribution was part of Walker’s bill that also took away nearly all collective bargaining rights from most public employees. The fight over that measure resulted in protests as large as 100,000 people, led to all 14 Democratic state senators fleeing to Illinois to block the bill, and made Wisconsin the center of the fight over union rights.
If Walker had fulfilled his campaign promise, he would have been paying his pension costs during that fight in February and March.
Werwie did not have an explanation for why Walker didn’t pay until the law forced him to. The law required Walker and other elected officials to make payments of 6.65 percent of their salary starting in August. That goes up to 7.05 next year.
Over four years, that will result in Walker paying $34,108.

    HPAds.adSonar(1517131,2259768,300,250)

    adsonar_placementId=1517131;adsonar_pid=2259768;adsonar_ps=-1;adsonar_zw=300;adsonar_zh=250;adsonar_jv=”ads.tw.adsonar.com”;

“Ultimately, we feel like we’re fulfilling what our campaign pledge was,” Werwie said.
But Walker didn’t pay anything between January and August when the law kicked in. When asked how he could say the promise was fulfilled given that lack of payment for seven months, Werwie said, “that’s a fair point to raise.”
Had the governor paid 6.65 percent of his salary during that time, it would have cost him $5,600.
    Democrats were beside themselves.
“You’re asking people to do what you won’t do,” Democratic Party spokesman Graeme Zielinski said. “It shows you this is a person whose priorities are warped.”
Democrats, unions and others plan to start collecting signatures in November to force a recall election of Walker next year.
“It is indefensible Scott Walker promised to live by these rules and then broke his word to Wisconsin,” said Scot Ross, head of the liberal group One Wisconsin Now. “Scott Walker tore Wisconsin in two to pass these unnecessary changes and then tells us `Do as I say, not as I didn’t.’”
Marty Beil, executive director of the 23,000-member Wisconsin State Employees Union that fought bitterly with Walker over the collective bargaining changes, said the governor’s broken promise wasn’t surprising.
“Apparently Rebecca and Scotty boy want the world to believe they’re working men and women and treat themselves like everyone else, but clearly they didn’t do that,” Beil said.
This isn’t the first time Walker has run into trouble fulfilling promises related to his pension.
Immediately after winning election as Milwaukee County executive in 2002, Walker promised that any staff under his control would waive all salary and benefit increases enacted after 2000. But his opponent in 2004 revealed that Walker’s staff had been taking a higher pension benefit for two years. Walker then asked the county board to reduce it.
Walker also promised to return $60,000 of his $130,000 annual salary as county executive, which he did every year until winning re-election in 2008 when he dropped it to $10,000 a year. Democrats said that amounted to a broken promise, but when Walker made his original pledge he never said how many years he would return $60,000 annually.
Walker also collected pension benefits based on his higher salary for two years before having it calculated based on the lower amount.
Kleefisch also promised during the campaign to pay her full pension cost, but she didn’t start paying until August either.
“Just like Scott Walker, I’ll pay my share of my pension, because everyone should pay their own way including me,” Kleefisch told a tea party group in September 2010.
Her chief of staff Jeanne Tarantino did not explain in an email why Kleefisch didn’t make the contribution starting in January as promised.

Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch Call For Arrest Of George W. Bush

Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch demanded the arrest and prosecution of former president George W. Bush before his appearance at an economic summit in Surrey, British Columbia on October 20th.
The advocacy organizations have called on Canadian federal authorities to arrest Bush due to the “overwhelming evidence that Bush and other senior administration officials authorized and implemented a regime of torture and ill-treatment of hundreds of detainees in US custody.”
Though both advocacy groups called for Bush’s extradition, The Vancouver Sun reports that the Canadian government has no intention to comply with the demand, saying the organizations were “engaging in cheap stunts.”
The ultimatum has also been dismissed in the US. Eliott Abrams, Senior Fellow for Middle Eastern Studies at the Counsel for Foreign Relations, published a piece highlighting the arbitrary demands for prosecution by HRW and Amnesty.
Though the groups have been outspoken in their campaigns against Bush’s involvement with torture, they choose their targets selectively, Abrams argues, saying that neither organization demanded the arrests or tried to bar travel of other heads of state with histories of human rights violations:
“Bashar al-Assad visited Paris in 2008 and 2009: silence. Putin hit Brussels this year: silence. When in good health Fidel was a world traveler: silence. No calls for prosecution for the many killings such people have ordered.”
But Amnesty stood firm, saying in its statement that the former President authorized the use of “enhanced interrogation techniques” such as waterboarding, a violation of basic human rights and international criminal law.

Susan Lee, Americas Director at Amnesty International, called the opportunity for arrest “a crucial moment for Canada to demonstrate it is prepared to live up to its…obligations with respect to human rights…and must now demonstrate that…no one…is above international law.”

Most prominent GOP member turns on his own party!

WASHINGTON — The most prominent Republican in the Obama administration is accusing GOP House members of blocking efforts to resolve the nation’s problems, partly because they don’t want the president to be successful.
Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood was asked at a transportation conference Friday why it was so difficult to get big infrastructure projects built right now.
He responded that “some people don’t want Obama to be successful.”
He said “a big percentage of the Republicans that were elected this time came here to do zero, and that’s what they’ve done.” LaHood says those lawmakers have obstructed other people who want to get things done.
LaHood said Thursday he will not serve beyond President Barack Obama’s first term, according to the Chicago Tribune. He served in Congress for 14 years before joining Obama’s cabinet. After the retirement of Secretary of Defense Robert Gates on July 1, he remains the only Republican in the Obama cabinet.
The Huffington Post’s Sam Stein interviewed LaHood last May. The transportation secretary expressed concern for bicyclist safety and praised the creation of bike lanes in cities. When asked whether he was a “hipster” for defending cyclist safety, he said, “I don’t even know what that term means.”

And what is it you know about Jesus?

  • davidblaine

I would agree with Jesus and side with the poor.  Tea-baggers put ideology before EVERYTHING!  Sadly, that includes jobs…and if the tea-baggers were so small government how come they turn to it everytime there is an ideological issue they have a hissy fit over?   Hypocrits.

  • davidblaine

I am not asking you to believe me.   But you do not believe the business owners who are about to shut down because peeps won’t do those jobs?  Do some research on it.  Don’t believe what I say…

  • davidblaine

We agree.  Like most of the world does…the GOP caused, created most of this mess!  Great!

  • ChefM

    Good morning Tony.

It is pretty much all davidblaine does is cut and paste. Pretty much falls in line with what all liberals do. To have an original thought to post just doesn’t play well with their dictators. Look at Joe biteme, every time he tries to spew an original thought, it puts him in the hot seat.

Maybe he’ll go way of his magician name sake, and disappear.

  • ^TDO^

    Wow,

    Cool.

One of the other states is finally doing something right.

What is your problem with denying jobs to illegals when so many LEGAL Americans are our of work?

That is what ‘compassion gets you.  Americans displaced.

  • davidblaine

Can you read Tony?  I just said below that both are real.  Stop the deflection.

  • ^TDO^

They hired illegals. They should not only be shut down, they should be fined and/or imprisoned.

  • ^TDO^

I think history will show that the only nation in the world that allowed free access to its jobs, found out it was wrong and eventually straightened out and got its own citizens back to work.

  • davidblaine

Yes, shutting down businesses!  Did you read the article?  Do you have a tv?  AL biz owners (yes, conservatives too) are about to shut down because even the legal ones are leaving outta fear from red necks giving them jail time for doing the work Americans won’t!  Don’t believe me.  Look it up anywhere…maybe even Fox.

  • davidblaine

No, legals are leaving too.  Read up.  Get back to me.

    Budgets
do not come from the White House. They come from
    Congress,
and the party that controlled Congress since January 2007 is the
    Democrat
    Party.
They controlled the budget process for FY 2008 and FY 2009, as well as
FY 2010 and FY 2011. In that first year, they had to contend with
George Bush, which caused them to compromise on spending, when Bush
somewhat belatedly got tough on spending increases.

    For
FY 2009 though, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid bypassed George Bush
entirely, passing continuing resolutions to keep government running
until Barack Obama could take office. At that time, they passed a
massive omnibus spending bill to complete the FY 2009 budgets..

    And
    where was Barack
    Obama
during this time? He was a member of that very Congress
that passed all of these massive spending bills, and
    he
    signed
    the omnibus
bill as President to complete FY 2009.
Let’s remember what the deficits looked like during that
    period:

    If
the Democrats inherited any deficit, it was the FY 2007 deficit, the
    last of the Republican
    budgets.
    That
deficit was the lowest in five years,
and the  fourth straight decline in deficit spending. After that,
    Democrats
in Congress took control of spending, and that includes Barack Obama,
who voted for the budgets. If Obama inherited anything, he inherited
    it from himself.

The sub-prime mortgage disaster was Bill
Clinton’s fault. In 1995 President Clinton’s changes to the Community
Reinvestment Act enabled ACORN to run a politically correct extortion
campaign against mortgage lenders, compelling them by force of law to
make unsound (sub-prime) loans to poor minorities who never stood a hope
    of repaying them.

    Dodd/Frank debacle. Democrats

What’s your point davidblaine, or should we call you by your proper name, david blame everyone but who’s at fault. I know it’s long, but it fits.

  • ^TDO^

    Hey, David,

Tell everyone about your minister.  AS I recall, he wasn’t Catholic.  Did he go to jail?  Do you still love him?

Seems like you are pretty steamed about those Catholic homosexual priests.  Why is that when you seem to have protected your homosexual minister.  Got something against Catholics?

  • davidblaine

History will show the tea-baggers are shameful ideological peeps who put hate, abortion, and pretty much anything before jobs and the well being of humans.  Jesus is crying.

  • davidblaine

Never did love him (his wife did)!  I was legal…these young girls are not!
I got something against pedophiles and break the law. I think religion is great for some. Likely you.

  • ^TDO^

    hahahahahahahhaahahahahhahhaha,

All they have to do is cut spending in areas OTHER THAN the military and we could get somewhere.

To bad the dems don’t see that in 3 years they have raised spending 1T.

  • davidblaine

What a joke…”other than”…you know no compromise…that is why the world laughs at the GOP.
Regardless, and at the end of the day…GOP owns congress and no one else. It will fall squarely on their shoulders.

  • ^TDO^

    Pretty simple stuff, DAvid,

They are protesting the wrong people.

    Don’t you ever get embarrassed?

  • ChefM

Well, Reagan walked into a worse mess left by Carter. In the end, he lowered taxes, raised revenue by 1/2 a trillion, 20+ million jobs later, stocks through the roof, personal wealth grew tremendously,  and unemployment was down and the middle class were growing and the poor shrinking.

    What’s your point?

  • ^TDO^

    Yes you will, David.

    How is that, David?

Again just showing the hypocrisy of your side.  Clinton did it and now Obama is doing it and yet Amnesty International doesn’t seem to be calling for their trial.

Do you not read and comprehend? Obama was part of the mess that began when the Dems took control. But here it is again.

    Budgets

But let me explain to you why we don’t like your ilk (Leftists).

France, England, Germany, et al, at least have the BALLS to say they are social democracies.  They are Proud to be called socialists.

But all of you on the left don’t like that label.  Why is that David?

  • davidblaine

You didn’t answer the question.  Another deflection.  Romney believes Jesus is not god…how can you as a christian vote for that?

  • ChefM

You need to go back to grade school for basic history. Oh, wait, never mind. The left took control there and changed history.

Look at Reagan’s list of accomplishments. Every President has done things that even their own base did not like, or realize they made mistakes, but in the end, the country as a whole was better off and prospering when Reagan was done.

    Learn David, learn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • ^TDO^

He did not raise taxes, David, he lowered them across the board.  Not only that, he simplified them.

    He eliminated tax loopholes.

I have a great link for all the tax rates since the Income tax came into being if you would like it.

It even explains why there is a Married Filing Jointly rate.

Would you like to see it?

Funny thing.  Obama’s tax cuts don’t show.

  • davidblaine

Reagan raised taxes and left a huge debt under his reign.  Look it up.

  • ^TDO^

I honestly don’t think you will.

Yes, this is the type of person that does not have a job, as his mommy supports him and he is allowed to actually practice Marxism, without having to pay for it. When was the last time he filed a tax return? He is like most of the scum in NYC that don’t pay taxes, but their mommies do.

Yes, he is a product of today’s educational system. He will spend his life on his knees, waiting for the “thinkers” to determine his fate.

  • davidblaine

I do not mind labels.  I buy Gucci, etc.  Jesus was a socialist by definition.  Certainly not a capitalist greedy corp type.
I am not saying the rich didn’t work to get there (I am one of them). I am saying we need to pay more in the countries time of need….and yes, I am.

Congress cannot create jobs- or anything else, for that matter. Only the private sector can do that. Abortion is here to stay, so drop the subject. The Demoncats should change their name to “The dead Baby Party” since they will fight more viciously for that than anything else.

    Nope,

I will spend no time going there..

Reagan myths don’t mesh with reality!

About 10,000 people will gather this weekend at the Ronald Reagan
Presidential Library in California to honor what would have been the 100th
birthday of former President Ronald Reagan — among them Dick Cheney, the Beach
    Boys and Sarah Palin.

Reagan, who served as president from 1981 -1989 and died in 2004 at the age
of 93, is widely considered the patron saint of conservatives; ask a prominent
conservative their hero, and odds are they’ll point to the Gipper. (The
adulation is so widespread that candidates at a debate last month among the
candidates to be RNC chairman were asked their hero – “aside from
    President Reagan.”)

Reagan is perhaps most often invoked by those who cast him as having held the
line against tax increases. Americans for Tax Reform President Grover Norquist,
for example, often points to Reagan when calling for lower taxes and spending
cuts; he says, by contrast, “tax hikes are what politicians do when they don’t
have the determination or the competence to govern.” Conservatives also hail
Reagan as a budget cutter willing to make hard choices to keep spending in line.

It’s certainly true that Reagan entered office as a full-throated
conservative vowing to cut both spending and taxes. And he quickly followed
through on part of that promise, passing a major reduction in marginal tax
rates. (According to author Lou Cannon, the top marginal rate fell from 70
percent when he came into office to 28 percent when he left.)

But following his party’s losses in the 1982 election, Reagan largely backed
off his efforts at spending cuts even as he continued to offer the
small-government rhetoric that helped get him elected. In fact, he went in the
opposite direction: His creation of the department of veterans affairs
contributed to an increase in the federal workforce of more than 60,000 people
    during his presidency.

And while Reagan somewhat slowed the marginal rate of growth in the budget,
it continued to increase during his time in office. So did the debt,
skyrocketing from $700 billion to $3 trillion. Then there’s the fact that after
first pushing to cut Social Security benefits – and being stymied by Congress –
Reagan in 1983 agreed to a $165 billion bailout of the program. He also
    massively expanded the Pentagon budget.

Meanwhile, following that initial tax cut, Reagan actually ended up raising
taxes – eleven times. That’s according to former Republican Sen. Alan Simpson, a
longtime Reagan friend who co-chaired President Obama’s fiscal commission that
last year offered a deficit reduction proposal.

“Ronald Reagan was never afraid to raise taxes,” historian Douglas Brinkley,
    who edited Reagan’s diaries, told
NPR. “He knew that it was necessary at times. And so there’s a false
mythology out there about Reagan as this conservative president who came in and
just cut taxes and trimmed federal spending in a dramatic way. It didn’t happen
    that way. It’s false.”

It’s important to note that Reagan’s tax increases did not wipe out the
effects of that initial tax cut. But they did eat up about half of it. And as
    Peter Beinart points
out, the 1983 payroll tax hike went to pay for Social Security and Medicare.
(“Reagan raised taxes to pay for government-run health care,” Beinart writes.)
Reagan also raised the gas tax and signed the largest corporate tax increase in
history, an act Joshua Green writes
would be “utterly unimaginable for any conservative to support today.”

Reagan was not happy about raising taxes or expanding government, and we
certainly shouldn’t forget that he had to work within the constraints placed
upon him by a non-compliant Congress. But that doesn’t change the fact that
Reagan both increased spending and, after the initial cut, showed a willingness
to raise taxes – exactly the sort of policy prescriptions so widely condemned by
    today’s Reagan-reverent conservatives.

These facts have largely been lost as the right has enshrined Reagan as its
patron saint, and they may fade further amid the speeches at this weekend’s
centennial celebration. But the reality is that Reagan was a president who held
firm beliefs but was also willing to work with his ideological opponents. And
that’s the sort of thing that doesn’t much lend itself to mythmaking. v

  • bloodaxe

Because they know that most people, even with the dumbing down of the schools, recognize the “socialists” and “progressives” for the communist scum that they are and are well aware of their track record of blood, death, torture, slavery and misery for all. And they don’t like it or want any part of it.

  • davidblaine

happy w/dead unborn party…i think humans are parasites on the planet anyway.  gays help population control.  gop helps by largest supporters of war, death penalty, etc.  this odd obsession with the unborn deaths is mind boggling.  you kill daily and don’t bat an eye…jesus weeps as you do.

  • Guest

Could that person be the grandson of Nazi Joe? You know, with all those meaningless posts and anti American attitude?

  • ChefM

No david, your history disagrees, real history is on my side, but thanks for trying.

You keep talking of the GOP spending so much time on abortion, not true,
but lets say for the sake of argument, it’s true. So what you are in
actuality saying, is that Obama spending his first two plus years in
office focusing 100% on his healthcare debacle, that he himself didn’t
put jobs on the back burner?

I guess when he first pushed his stimulus by stating it was urgent and
we must pass or unemployment will go over 8%. So maybe if he didn’t
focus 100% of his time campaigning around the country on our  dime,
unemployment wouldn’t be at 9.1% right now?

Come on David. Stay with us. You are all over the map, contradicting yourself with almost every post.

Who’s laughing at who? I am pretty sure you know the answer to that, because the laughs are not in our direction.

  • davidblaine

Ask the rest of the planet…not your fringe group ideologists.

  • Guest

You can “glance” at his posts, and it does remind me of the “Hitler Youth” of the 30′s with the parroting of the socialist phrases. In fact, it is amusing, for you know where he will end up.

  • ^TDO^

So what?  I am not a Christian fundamentalist, David.  You must have me confused with someone else.

    ABO & OMG

Iwill even vote for Ron Paul if he is the candidate.

Anyone is better than Obama, LOL

  • bloodaxe

Reagan took on the evil Soviet Empire in an arms race and we outspent and outbuilt those bastards and they finally collapsed like the empty bag they always were. The leftist shitheads in this country can’t get over it and will hate Reagan for it ’til the end of time.
Sun Tzu,an ancient Chinaman, wrote a book about warfare and one of the things he said was that to defeat your enemy without ever having to actually fight him was the highest form of war. Mr. Reagan did that. He was among our greatest leaders.
There is no one remotely like him anywhere in sight today.

  • davidblaine

    My mistake.  I apologize.

Unfortunately, I do not agree nor think anyone has a chance in hell to beat BO.  Before you say I love him (I do not)…remember I didn’t vote for him and am not saying I still will…

  • ^TDO^

Where do you come up with this stuff.

YOUR congress was so intent on socializing everything that jobs were NEVER addressed.

Abortion?  The republican house is concentrated on reducing spending and they damn well should be..

effects of that initial tax cut.

  • bloodaxe

Maybe he is able to do a little separation of Church & State. Perhaps he believes Mr. Romney would make a good president despite his religious beliefs. Do you think that is possible?

  • bloodaxe

    He’s making it worse.

  • bloodaxe

Baloney. They are definitely communist front outfits. No one is laughing at me you idiot- there probably are no more than 5 or 6 people out of 300 million who read any of this stuff. All of them, including you, know that I am telling the truth. What a jerk you are.

    Yes.
RomneyCare is great.  He was pro-choice and after he wins will likely return to it.  Gay marriage is quite legal in his state…and like Romney, I too do not believe Jesus is god.

  • ChefM

Ronald Reagan’s economic achievements were among the most important of
his presidency. When he took office in January 1981, the U.S. economy
was suffering from many ills, including slow growth, high inflation,
rising unemployment and unprecedented interest rates. Economists
commonly believed that it would take decades to fix all these problems,
if they could be fixed at all, and that the political cost of doing so
was impossibly large for a democracy. Yet, well before the end of
Reagan’s presidency in 1988, he had succeeded in reversing all of the
problems he inherited, putting the U.S. economy on the path of sound,
noninflationary growth that continues to this day.

To appreciate the magnitude of Reagan’s achievement, it is important to
recall just how bad the economic situation was in 1980. There was a
recession that year, beginning in January and ending in July. As a
consequence, real growth for the year was negative, with the national
unemployment rate averaging more than 7 percent. Yet, inflation remained
dangerously high. By December 1980, the consumer price index was 12.4
percent higher than a year earlier. Inflationary expectations, combined
with monetary tightening by the Federal Reserve, caused interest rates
to hit the highest levels in U.S. history. The prime rate went above 20
percent at mid-year and was still above 15 percent when Reagan took the
    oath of office.

Reagan’s predecessor, Jimmy Carter, was baffled by the combination of
economic evils. Many economists believed that it would take the
equivalent of another Great Depression to break the back of inflation
and restore the nation’s economic health, something no sane politician
would ever contemplate. A common estimate was based on “Okun’s Law,”
named for economist Arthur Okun, which says that to bring inflation down
by one percentage point will cause the economy to contract by 10
percent. Thus eliminating a 12.4 inflation rate would either take a
very, very long time or involve an unthinkable economic cost.

Nevertheless, by 1986 the U.S. inflation rate was down to just 1.1
percent and real gross domestic product was rising at a healthy pace.
The unemployment rate and interest rates were still stubbornly high, but
on a downward trend. Although the U.S. economy had suffered a sharp
recession from July 1981 to November 1982, it was far less severe than
most economists expected, given the drop in inflation.

It is to Reagan’s credit that he never wavered from his commitment to
end inflation, even during the darkest days of the recession in 1982,
when his party was suffering huge losses at the polls resulting from the
economic slowdown. He remained steadfast because he was certain of the
outcome and because the stakes were so high. Reagan firmly believed that
the Soviet Union’s tottering economy was being kept afloat only by
skyrocketing prices for its export commodities, such as oil and gold.
Thus, stopping inflation was central not only to the health of the
domestic economy, but to the defeat of communism as well.

Of course, the Federal Reserve waged the main fight against inflation.
But Reagan consistently supported its efforts and appointed new
governors, including Alan Greenspan as chairman in 1987, who supported
price stability. But Reagan also believed, rightly, that increasing the
production of goods and services was another key to ending inflation.
Toward this end, he pushed for lower tax rates to encourage work and
investment, promoted free trade and deregulation to foster competition
and resisted political pressure for government intervention in areas
    such as corporate takeovers.

Critics of Reagan’s policies continue to point to large budget deficits
in the 1980s as the price of his success. These troubled him as well.
But given the magnitude of Reagan’s accomplishments in stopping
inflation and bringing about the collapse of the Soviet Union, I don’t
think his failure in this area should be held against him.

As impressive as Reagan’s tangible accomplishments in office were, his
less tangible accomplishments were also significant. Together with
Margaret Thatcher, he restored the idea that private individuals and
businesses were the true sources of prosperity, not government. They
gave legitimacy to free markets, open trade and sound money, in contrast
to socialism, planning and price controls, which had dominated economic
policy throughout the world for more than half a century. The
renaissance of growth and freedom in Eastern Europe and the Third World
owes much to Reagan’s and Thatcher’s discrediting of the socialist idea
and their tireless defense of economic freedom.

It is sad that Reagan was not able to fully comprehend the magnitude of
his own achievements in his last years, or even to enjoy the grudging
respect of his enemies. I expect his stature will grow in future years
as historians put Reagan’s accomplishments into context. In the end, I
believe they will conclude that he was among the world’s greatest
leaders, someone who changed the course of history for the better.

He raised taxes to cover SS and Medicare (Healthcare).  Look it up.

    David Blame.
I’ve just been sitting here reading all your hysterical propaganda.

Since I don’t think it is possible for a rational human being to
actually believe all of the nonsense you write I  don’t often feel
    compelled to answer you.

But this little gem, “and if the tea-baggers were so small government how come they turn to it
everytime there is an ideological issue they have a hissy fit over?
    Hypocrits.”Deserves a reply.

Conservatives call on the government to do it’s job.
     Liberals try to
force their beliefs on, and mute the voices of others through the
government. They try to right all the world’s wrongs by assigning blame
to groups of people. They teach whole generations of people to be
leeches so that they have drones to vote for their unbelievably naive,
pie in the sky, liberty killing, ego stroking policies.

They do this because they are vain and filled with false pride. You are a perfect example.

You see it as your side against the other on all issues. A perfect patsy. A mindless slave.

There is no crime committed by the left that you will not sign your name to.

The chicken rushes to the farmhouse but realizes that the

The bartender points her to the chapter president.

The biker babe asks how she can join, but women can’t join, they can only ride on the back.

The president decides to have a little fun. He tells her, well first you gotta have a Harley.

    Right outside says the babe.

Well you have to be able to pull a wheelie.

The biker babe goes outside starts up her bike and rides a wheelie all the way down the block.

Very impressed, the president asks: Have you ever been picked up by the fuzz?

No replies the babe, but I’ve been swung around by the tits a few times…

What are you talking about? He drove a Tiger tank on Iwo Jima and killed 50 Chinese soldiers with a broken M-16 rifle before being injured and taken aboard the U.S.S. Ronald Reagan where his nurse Hot Lips Hoolihan asked him to marry her. But he declined in favor of a young company clerk, Radar O’reilly.
    Then he was the President.

Okay. I was wondering why he didn’t tell him to grab his tail. I thought maybe he was like Shuggie-Moo-Goo-Gai-Pan and had a thing for chickens.
I would think a chicken that could drive a Harley could get himself out of the mud, but who knows, maybe he is like Victor and has a thing for other farm animals.

That was right before he invented the semi-conductor. You know, so Al Gore could invent the internet.

No, I think he went down with that one. In fact rumor has it that Sugar will go down with anything.

A blond was speeding down the freeway at top speeds. She flies by a female cop doing 110 in her new convertible Mustang. The cop see’s her and pulls out, puts the sirens on and finally catches up to her. The blond looks in her rear view mirror, and see’s the cop.

She pulls over and waits for the cop to come up to her window. The cop comes to the window and asks her for her license and registration. The blond starts to look, and gives the officer a card from the whole sale store. The cop says, no, that’s not your license.

The cop looks at her and says, look, I know us blonds have a stereo type, but come on, your license is the thing in your purse that has your picture on it. As she looks, the cop is getting frustrated at the stupidity of this woman and is even more upset because she is making the blond stereo type credible.

Finally, she gets really mad and say’s, damn it, it has your picture on it!!!

The blond driver finally yells out, I found it, I found it!!!  She pulls out a mirror, and tells the cop, I found it, it has my picture on it.

The cop grabs it and looks at the mirror, and says. why didn’t you tell me you were a cop?

    ……Tequilahhh…….. A
man walks into a bar, notices a very large jar
    on the counter,
    and
sees that it’s filled to the brim with $10
bills.  He guesses there must be at least
    ten thousand dollars in it.
    He
    approaches
the bartender and asks, “What’s with the money
    in the jar?”
    “Well…,
you pay $10, and if you pass three tests, you
get all the money in the jar and
    the
    keys
to a brand new Lexus.” The man certainly
isn’t going to pass this up, so he asks, “What
are the three tests?” “You gotta pay
first,” says the bartender, “those are the
    rules.”
    So,
after thinking it over a while, the man gives
the bartender $10 which he stuffs into
    the
    jar.
“Okay,” says the bartender, “here’s what
    you need to do:  First
    – You have to drink a whole quart of tequila, in
60 seconds or less, and you
    can’t
    make
    a face while doing it.”
    “Second
    – There’s a pit bull chained in the
    back
    with
a bad tooth.  You have to remove that tooth
    with your bare hands.” “Third
    – There’s a 90-year old lady upstairs who’s
never had sex.  You have to take care of
    that problem.”
    The
man is stunned!  “I know I paid my $10 —
but I’m not an idiot!  I won’t do it!
You’d have to be nuts to drink a quart of
tequila and then do all those other
    things!”
    “Your
call,” says the bartender, “but, your money
    stays where it is.”
    As
time goes on, the man has a few more drinks and
    finally says, “Where’s the damn
    tequila?!”
    He
grabs the bottle with both hands and drinks it
    as fast as he can.
    Tears
stream down both cheeks — but he doesn’t make a
face — and he drinks it in 58
    seconds!
    Next,
he staggers out the back door where he sees the
pit bull chained to a pole.  Soon,
    the
    people
inside the bar hear loud growling, screaming,
and sounds of a terrible fight

    then,
    nothing
    but silence!
    Just
when they think that the man surely must be
dead, he staggers back into the bar.  His
clothes are ripped to shreds and he’s bleeding
from bites and gashes all over his
    body.
    He
drunkenly says, “Now…, where’s that old woman
    with the bad tooth?”

Bill Clinton died and found himself in a room with three doors. A man in a white robe greeted him and told him he would take up residence in one of the three rooms, and that he must stay in that room doing whatever occurred in that room until someone else took his place. Clinton was also told that, once he bypassed a room, he could not return to it.

Clinton opened the first door and saw Jerry Falwell sitting on a couch with beautiful women waiting on him hand and foot. Clinton said “That’s pretty good, but I’d like to see what else you have to offer.”

The second door revealed Newt Gingrich making wild and passionate love to a beautiful mature woman. Clinton said “That is very good, but the third room must be even better”.

When the third door was opened, Bill Clinton stopped in his tracks. There was Monica Lewinsky on her knees, giving oral pleasure to Kenneth Starr. Clinton could not contain his glee; “This one, I want this one, I want to spend eternity in THIS room!”

The man in the white robe said calmly, “Thank you for making your choice, Mr. President. Monica, you’re out of here!”

    LOL.

  • 1LonesomeDove1

Ya see, mikie……I can disprove every lie you told here, but the problem is that, whenever I do tear up your arguments….everyone else can understand it but you.

For example, your first lie here: Ignored warnings before 9/11………..I have already disproved this lie when you told it before. You offered nothing to counter me. But I know that that’s what you always do when confronted with the irrefutable truth. You just shut up and run.

Even other liberals, cause they never say anything when I tear up your stupid arguments, and the fascists from the Buchanan Reich can’t do it either…………..and they agree with you!
So why don’t they jump right on it?
It’s because even they’re smarter than you are, so they don’t even try.

I don’t know if you’re illiterate ( I mean, all you do is cut/paste what someone else says ), or you’re just not that smart, but evidently you just don’t have the tools to deal with a good counter post, so you choose to claim you can’t understand me, or you remain silent.

So what do we do with a “less than able” debate challenged banana like you?

  • westoast

Actually, I saw him dodge the shoe.

  • 1LonesomeDove1

    bill

You’re not addressing all the points here. Why not?

First of all, why are they calling for violent revolution and socialism?
For the last 4 years here, all the liberals have said that this desire for socialism accusation against them was ridiculous.

Second, why is there no mention of Obama and the democrats who voted to bail out Wall Street with our money?

Third, why are they not protesting the big unions who got bailed out as well? Why just Wall Street? Which brings us to the fourth.

And last, if this is an unorganized grass roots movement, then why are they avoiding these democrat soft spots?

  • ChefM

Yeah, I’ll give him that one. I saw that too!!!

  • OKCorral

    Greetings from the OKCorral:
First, I see Newsmax has a poll which shows Newt jumping out in front of every one over the weekend.  I wish the poll was an accurate reflection of voter support.  It had the desired effect on me.  I contributed to his campaign.  Next, Omaha experienced the “wall street” protest contagion over the weekend.  What a bunch of losers.  One of them was asked why he was protesting.  Corporate greed was the answer.  He was then asked  at what point he would feel that his goal was achieved.  He said “when they quit being greedy”.  It dawned on me that his answer was a bit like Obama saying that the rich had to pay their “fair share”.  Por favor Mr. President, define “Fair Share”.  Its like the idiot in San Francisco that said he was supporting a $20.00 per hour minimum wage.  He was asked if he would leave the protest if offered a $20.00 per hour job.  He said “hell no; no one can manage on that kind of money”!
This is why they should require “IQ” tests in the voting rights act.
    Old Gringo Ralph

  • ^TDO^

I don’t care about IQ so much, Ralph.  There are a lot of dumb people on both sides of the aisle.

What I would like to see is a ‘dependency’ test.  If you are a dependent in any legal way, the vote should not be yours.  Whether it is for going to school and a dependent on their parents’ tax returns,, employable but receiving aid, folks on Social Security that have never paid a dime in, etc.whatever.  17 year olds on their own would be eligible to vote.

I don’t think you should be able to vote for ongoing relief if you aren’t on your own.  Excluded from this are those on unemployment (they have shown they are willing to work), or those that are disabled.

I think the people would be amazed at how fast things would change.  Not so much in the way of the removing of welfare, but how fast those on welfare would try to get off.

  • ^TDO^

I hope you like that one mikey.

    Factcheck.

    Isn’t that one of yours?

  • Mike_M_Davis

    That’s correct.

    And Condi denied it.

    Under oath.

  • ^TDO^

The statement made by the administration is that Iraq was actively seeking uranium.  This was backed by intelligence from the Brits.

Funny thing is, Joe Wilson’s trip validated that.  I just gave you a link.

  • ^TDO^

    NOpe,

That is a lie.  Another one you were caught in.

How long are you going to keep posting ‘facts’ that are lies.

Neither in the PDB nor in Clarke’s memo was there ever a hint of flying planes into buildings.

You never finish anything, you run away coward. All you ever do is leave and come back with a subject change. You got Alzheimer’s or something?

  • Mike_M_Davis

So, now factcheck is credible? Because they say Bush was wrong, but not lying?

    Lol!!!

Now, what about Cheney? He’s the one who made the case for yellow cake ore, remember?

And he sent that stupid Texan puppet out there to make HIS case for him.

You just lost another one TDO.

    Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!

  • ChefM

Why Mikey………Why, why, why, do you come here every single day without doing your research???

I have been reading the back and forth between you and everyone else, and so far, everything you have posted has been debunked, yet you have not been able to debunk anything against your “facts” as you call them.

You seemed proud of the fact that you are the one who brought up the topic. Next time you might want to refrain from taking credit.

If you plan to bring up a topic in the future, you need to do a better job at researching. The way you do that is to look for what you believe, then look for the claims against those beliefs. See if you can refute the claims against yours. If you can’t, then it’s best to not start in the first place.

You make a complete fool out of yourself every day, then you run.

Aren’t you getting tired of running?

  • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_VWYAWEUNPOWSJD6IF6CDLXOKDU sfblogger

  • ^TDO^

    NOthing to counter.

You lied and presented no facts.

  • Mike_M_Davis

    Here’s my favorite part:

“Both the US and British investigations make clear that some forged Italian documents, exposed as fakes soon after Bush spoke, were not the basis for the British intelligence Bush cited, or the CIA’s conclusion that Iraq was trying to get uranium.”

No mention of the fact that the Bush administration, who was accused of forging the Rome documents NEVER bothered to follow up on who forged them!

    Gee, I wonder why?

    Lol!!!!!

    Nap time TDO.

I’m not waiting around just to watch you dodge facts with yet more lies.

  • ^TDO^

    Hahahahhahahhahahaha

How many references to you want, Mikey?

I can give you as many as you want.  I used YOURS specifically because it is, well, one of yours.

Laughing and denying does not disprove anything I said.  Counter argument is due now.

    Show us YOUR facts, LOL

    Hahahahahhaahhahhahahahhha

  • 1LonesomeDove1

Same with you, moron. You believe Bush when his quotes go your way, but refuse to believe him when they don’t.

Same with Fox News. You guys quote Fox when it suits your arguements, then reject Fox when they don’t.

I have included a typo in this post so mikie will have something to say.

  • ChefM

No Mikey, can’t you figure it out yet?

We are smart enough to know fact check is left leaning, but gets a few things right at times, but we usually never use it. But it seems to be a source you frequent often, so we will use it in hopes you might look again and learn something instead of using it as a credible source only when it agrees with your opinion.

  • 1LonesomeDove1

And besides, you need to rest from all this running you do.

  • Mike_M_Davis

    Still no comment here?

    Hmmmm…

    Another post, another dodge.

  • 1LonesomeDove1

You’ve never commented to any of ours, either. You’re afraid to.

  • ^TDO^

    Hahahahahhahahahhahhha,

You picked out one thing in there that you have an OPINION about and present it once again as a fact.  Of course every single thing in that article debunks everything you claimed.  You never once brought up the documents.

But I guess the part about -

“Both the US and British investigations make clear that some forged
Italian documents, exposed as fakes soon after Bush spoke, were not the
basis for the British intelligence Bush cited, or the CIA’s conclusion
that Iraq was trying to get uranium.”

in other words, the documents had nothing to do with the intelligence, you just chose to ignore.

  • ChefM

Oh knock it off. You do realize how dumb you look right?

Accusing others of what you do is played so much, it’s growing mold.

How many posts towards you, and how many dodges? Too many to list.

Go home now. The village is getting worried about you.

  • ^TDO^

She never lied, Mikey.  Nothing to conrradict.  Your saying so is not a fact.

Would you like me to show you documented proof of Clarek’s lies?

    LOL

  • ^TDO^

    Chef,

That is the problem.  He has no idea how stupid he looks.

    LOL

  • ^TDO^

Soros is going to cut off his checks.

We know for a fact that Soros is paying him.

  • StanW

    Brave Sir Mikey,

Are you now talking about Bush’s State of the Union speech and the “16 Words” that pathetic Liberals like you claim was a lie?

  • ^TDO^

He’s trying, Stan, but not doing a very good job of it.

  • ChefM

Yes it is. I can be entertaining at times, but this dolt really strives for excellence in stupidity.

His is the kind of stupidity that hurts so much, you just have to look away at times.

  • StanW

He ran away fast this morning when I caught him in several lies. I think he likes the attention.

  • ^TDO^

I enjoy yanking his tail and pulling his wings off.

I must be some kind of sadist.

Of course, then, Mikey is some kind of masochist.

  • ^TDO^

NO, it is meant for site disruption.

WE see that here every election cycle.

  • 1LonesomeDove1

Maybe, and maybe not….but he believes he has a workable tactic here.
After seeing others get defeated when they try to debate us, he’s decided that his best move would be to never involve himself with actually responding to counterpoints and questions.

Eddie used this by means of jokes and stupid metaphors when he wanted to evade the point. mikie just keeps posting while refusing to acknowledge them altogether. That way he doesn’t have to give a hand in his own demise.

  • ^TDO^

I have often thought that Mikey was Eddie.

But giving Mikey his due, he is a much better speller and I haven’t once caught goober in his comments.

  • 1LonesomeDove1

Their similarity is striking. I would say that it is eddie, as I have always suspected that he could successfully pull off  more than one personality.

The spelling thing is different, but there are certain word usages that make me suspicious. And where has eddie been, anyway?

  • ^TDO^

    Hiding under his trailer?

  • 1LonesomeDove1

    Or under mikie’s name?

  • StanW

Pull off “more than one personality”? That must be online, becasue in real life, I doubt Brave Sir Mikey has any personality at all!

  • ^TDO^

    I suppose it is possible.

    The whole running away thing.

The whole insult when challenged thing.

The whole opinions are facts thing.

The whole never checks his own facts.

The whole misuse of numbers thing.

    The whole deflection thing.

The whole give 80 items to refute in one post thing,

    Wait a minute!

You don’t suppose Eddie is using firefox with the build in spell checker, do you?

  • ChefM

LOL!!! It can be fun. But as for his being several people under different names, I wouldn’t be surprised, but they also could be doing things to throw us off.

For instance, yesterday when the 2-on-1 was posting. Everyone took it as Shuga, but two references he  made, gave me the idea it could have been Mikey.

Shuga has never once used the Macaroni chef “insult” and one other I can’t remember off hand that only he has ever used. One can be a diversion, but two? And the second was imbedded in the middle that didn’t seam intentional.

But basically, who knows, who cares, there all liars here to disrupt.

  • ^TDO^

It is what Mikey never quite got about Jerry’s posts.

Jerry called them sock puppets.  He even stated that even if they AREN’T The same people, they were te same idea.  Mikey could never grasp that.

  • ^TDO^

    PAZACTLY

  • ^TDO^

    Hey LD,

This could be true too. It’s just that one night shugaCreep was here with me and WT when he was all of a sudden just gone. Within minutes, 2_on_1 showed up, and shugaCreep stopped posting until he left.

Maybe coincindence, but shuga never leaves one he starts going off.

He knew what Jerry meant. I know he’s dumb, else he wouldn’t be a democrat, but playing dumb is one of mikie’s tactics too.

  • 1LonesomeDove1

Saw that. I sent him a message on FB.

  • ChefM

You could be right LD. But it could also be a piggy back. 2-on-1 could be both on one username.

They do seem to like to be in cahoots, together at times.

Are they smart enough though, is the question???

  • ChefM

Mikey could be Bob Beckel in disguise.
They both spew nonsense and can’t dispute with facts, only ridiculous claims complete with an insult as if it helps them look smarter.

  • 1LonesomeDove1

I guess anyone can copy any ID they want. There’s a third party I suspect, but I won’t name them, and like you said….it doesn’t matter. They’re all the same no answer, no counterpoint clowns anyway.

  • ^TDO^

Of course Mikey ran away shouting – I win I win.

That is the biggest similarity between him and Eddie.

    Hahahahahhahahahahhaa

They have their faces pushed in but they win.

    LOL

  • 1LonesomeDove1

That’s why eddie earned the name “bucket head”.

  • ^TDO^

    Heh heh heh

I’m outta here for a while.

How long before Mikey reappears do you think?

  • 1LonesomeDove1

Once he’s sure you’re gone. Couple hours or so.

    Later T!

  • dzho

The Plame complaint concerned an article by Novak.

Novak has expressly stated that he got the information from Armitage.

So how could someone else be to blame?

Yeah, I know, I’d be a fool were I to expect you to respect actual logic.

  • ChefM

I suppose we are all fools for engaging in debates with him.

I like to call it target practice. It gets us to think, and look things up we may not already know, or just for some extra information to refute the usual lies.

In that sense……. fools we are not.

But what we are doing is just making Mikey our useful idiot for our own personal education.

We can consider him our personal trainer………….. He just doesn’t know it! LOL!!!

  • AustinAndy

    Dear Mikey:

I see that you are confused again.  Did the Clarke memo state how the al Qida (Clarke’s spelling) network would attack the United States anywhere?  NO

Did the Clarke memo state that the al Quaeda network would use aircraft to hit buildings in the United States?  NO

Did the Clarke memo state which airport the attackers would use and what weapons they would use to overcome the crew?  NO

Did the Clarke memo state or infer when the next attack would come against the US?  NO

So the Clarke memo was not specific as to the method, which location or when the attack would come.  It did say that we should help the Afghanistan freedom fighters against the Taliban and the CIA should increase funding to increase counterterror tactical training.

Did the CIA tell the FBI about members of al Quaeda arriving in the United States and training to fly airliners?  NO.  Forbidden by the wall erected between the two agencies during the Clinton administration.  Jamie Gorelick created the wall during the Clinton administration, was involved in the false profits scandal at Fannie Mae during the 2000-2001 time frame, and sat on the 9-11 Commission which investigated why the attack happened.  She erected the disconnect between the CIA and the FBI, yet she is sitting on the commissihttp://www.gwu.edu/~nsarchiv/NSAEBB/NSAEBB147/index.htmon which is investigating the incident?  Most people feel she should have been under investigation, not acting as the investigator.

I repeat the website to read the actual memo:

    http://www.gwu.edu/~nsarchiv/NSAEBB/NSAEBB147/index.htm4

    yours sincerely,

  • AustinAndy

Obama believes that everything that an individual earns in the United States belongs to the government.  So the correct answer for the fair share of earnings by rich people is 100%, because they have enough already.  But that is his Marxist economic training coming out and reminding everyone why he is such a horrid president.

  • Mike_M_Davis

    I’m not your friend Eddie.

I’m not your friend Sir Robin.

    I’m not your friend Suga.

    I’m ME. Michael Makepeace Davis.

If any of you had two active brain cells, you could easily Google my articles.

TDO, you still haven’t answered my post –

Why did Condolleeza Rice say they were never warned of airplanes being used as missiles, when the documents reveal that she was?

And why did you say that FACT wasn’t true?

And why are you making excuses for her lies?

Could it be, that if that lie is revealed to the mass media, then the whole 9/11 excuse for attacking Iraq would be too?

And then where would you Teabaggers be in 2012?

  • OKCorral

Greerting TDO:  Don’t mean to leave a “footprint” on one of your replies to the “moonbat” but I wanted to respond to your message to me concerning voter qualifications.  On the business of the “IQ” requirement to vote,  quite frankly I was just being facetious or at minimum a bit sarcastic.  However, when people who want to vote can’t even tell you the capitol of the state in which they reside or the name of the Vice President (whom I will admit is forgettable), you got to wonder if they should be allowed to vote for anything, city dogcatcher included.  I do agree with you however, that folks who do not pay income tax, apart from Vets, disabled persons, widows, people on unemployment comp., and retired folks (got to include them cause they did their time behind the grindstone) should not be allowed to vote.  I do not believe that felons should ever have the right to vote and you and I are apart on the 17 year olds, even if they are working and paying into the system.  Why do I say that….at 17 and I will speak for myself, I was too prone to knee jerk decisions.  Even though I was on a college debate team, I was far to easily swayed and generally speaking, I was too willing to want to rush in to save the “underdog” without being armed with sufficient data.  I did things based on emotion and the heat of the moment and I could be “ginned” up into the “mob mentality” from time to time.  If the frat brothers went south, I went south and it was not until I began to grow up in the military that I started to have the proper respect for the ideals that made this country great.  About that time, I began to shed the cloak of ”voter apathy” and take the long view.  Granted, that was me and I am not saying that is the way it is for most of todays generation but my friend TDO, I think they put that 21 year old voting age together for a very cogent reason.  I appreciate the argument that when you are getting your azz shot off you should be able to vote for the guy that put you in front of the line of sight.  On the other hand, that was the same argument we used for lowering the drinking age and look at where that got us.  Just saying brother….
    Old Gringo Ralph

  • ShugaRay

Articles?  How does someone who cannot spell or put a coherent sentence together write articles?  It must be difficult for you.

  • ^TDO^

I knew you would come back like this Mikey.

What documents?  What lie?  You showed something purported from 1999.  How do you know Rice knew about them?

You claim something that happened in 1999.  She wasn’t in the cabinet at that time or working for Clinton.

The last piece of intelligence she saw said that any airplane would be hijacked to help free the blind sheik.

I provided the documents.  You provided a CBS story.

So, even if true, why didn’t Clinton do something about it?  Those terrorists were trained on his watch!!!!!!!  Of course, you evpected Bush to do something about al Qaida in 9 months that Clinton did nothing about for 8 years.

You can’t have things both ways even if you would like to,  Life doesn’t work that way.

  • ^TDO^

    Oh,

And the point of our observations was, it doesn’t matter.  Your are all the same – talking point parrots.

That was what Jerry was trying to explain to you.  You still have not the intelligence to figure out his words, why would we think you have the intelligence to produce a reasoned debate.

  • ^TDO^

    And one more thing -

Yes you are the brave Sir Robin.

CLAIM: ”I do not remember any reports to us, a kind of strategic warning, that planes might be used as weapons.” [responding to Kean]

FACT: Condoleezza Rice was the top National Security official with President Bush at the July 2001 G-8 summit in Genoa. There, “U.S. officials were warned that Islamic terrorists might attempt to crash an airliner” into the summit, prompting officials to “close the airspace over Genoa and station antiaircraft guns at the city’s airport.” [Sources: Los Angeles Times, 9/27/01; White House release, 7/22/01]

CLAIM: ”I was certainly not aware of [intelligence reports about planes as missiles] at the time that I spoke” in 2002. [responding to Kean]

FACT: While Rice may not have been aware of the 12 separate and explicit warnings about terrorists using planes as weapons when she made her denial in 2002, she did know about them when she wrote her March 22, 2004 Washington Post op-ed. In that piece, she once again repeated the claim there was no indication “that terrorists were preparing to attack the homeland using airplanes as missiles.” [Source: Washington Post, 3/22/04]

CLAIM: There was “nothing about the threat of attack in the U.S.” in the Presidential Daily Briefing the President received on August 6th. [responding to Ben Veniste]

FACT: Rice herself confirmed that “the title [of the PDB] was, ‘Bin Laden Determined to Attack Inside the United States.’” [Source: Condoleezza Rice, 4/8/04]Ouch.And then, they hit us.

  • Mike_M_Davis

    Sweet.

    And how old are you?

  • ^TDO^

    Again, Mike,

That is no proof of anything.

I showed you the PDB. It mentioned airplanes.  It said that al Qaida might hijack one to pressure for the release of the blind sheik.

Since that was the threat assessment, she did not lie.  And there is no way for you to prove that she knew about planes used as missiles before that.

Here is the report from the g8 summit in Genoa, Justice and Interior ministers

    http://www.g8.utoronto.ca/adhoc/justice2001.htm

No mention in there about airplanes mike.

  • ^TDO^

Why do you want to know, MIke?

I am certainly too old for you.

And I looked up Michael Makepiece Davis.  Funny thing happened.

    I didn’t find you.

    LOL

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA

  • Mike_M_Davis

“Again, Mike,That is no proof of anything.”

    It’s proof that she lied.

And that’s why you’re refusing to acknowledge it.

  • ^TDO^

    Where Mike?

    What proof?

Someone somewhere said something.  I just posted the official release from those meetings.

No mention of airlines. airplanes, jets, whatever.

Tom Clancy wrote of airplanes used to attack congress in 1996.  Did anyone give him notice?

You have presented no proof.  Why are you so thickheaded?

  • bloodaxe

Let us assume that you are correct and the evil negress did in fact lie through her teeth. What should be done about it? Should she be flogged? Flayed? Pilloried? What do you recommend?

The 9-11 attacks were a total surprise. So was Pearl Harbor. So was the German attack on Russia in 1941. There was ample warning for all of these attacks somewhere among the vast array of incoming intel. They just didn’t see it.
You’re a great monday-morning quarterback. You are blessed with 20-20 hindsight. Which doesn’t do you or anyone else a bit of good.

  • westoast

There was no 9/11 excuse for attacking Iraq.
There was only the endless repeating of that lie by the media to fool all the sheople. Obviously it worked.

But every cloud has a silver lining- we’ll probably have to take in huge numbers of refugees. All ignorant illiterate unskilled Muslims who hate us.

  • riverdave

I would guess that you do not have many friends. Most of the tin-foil hat crowd seems to have that problem.

As for 2012 ……… It is not so much an election as it is a restraining order.

By the way, I’m not licking O’Bambi’s or Van Jone’s nuts, or anyone’s for that matter. What you choose to lick or suck is your choice, but I firmly believe in the principles and values of the Tea Party Movement, the Constitution of these United States and the concept of personal responsibility.

The best thing that scum sucking trash like you can do at this point is to get the hell out of my way!

  • bloodaxe

Valerie Plame sat on her ample buttocks in a nice warm office for her entire lackluster career. She was not a female version of James Bond. I doubt if she ever fired even a BB gun in her whole safe, secure and comfortable life. She was not a field agent dealing with enemy spies and assassins. No one gave a rat’s ass about her. She was as much a player in espionage as you are.

  • westoast

    Hi Riverdance. :)

“If any of you had two active brain cells, you could easily Google my articles.”

There are no articles, you lying moron. If there were, and since they’d be open to the public anyway, and if it were that easy to find them, you’d be showing them off here every chance you got.

I’ve heard some whoppers in my time, but this ranks right up there with that nut case ken miller.

Maybe he writes his articles on toilet paper while skipping in circles and crying. Or something like that.

I did find a reference to a Mike M Davis who is a writer.

Here is a sample of his articles –

inspiring political content, don’t you think.

I have to warn ya though, fascist girl. Whether or not you answer that last post, I’m gonna ignore that answer and keep right on posting it just like you do to us when you get answered. Remember….these are your rules, not ours.

I think maybe retarded people can’t spell “doozy”, or define it either.

    Retardo.

  • Mike_M_Davis

Thanks Paul, that was very moving.

I do believe I’ve see the light!

Oh, no.. wait. It’s just a reflection off my neighbor’s mailbox.

But hey! The Lord moves in mysterious ways, so just maybe……?

  • Paul Earth A.D.

Stealing your neighbors welfare check again?

Or just peering into his bathroom window?

In either case, you’re right; the light you see is nothing more than a reflection. But unlike the reflection cast from a mirror, or the clarity one can gain from reflecting upon the word of God — the light you see is obscured by darkness and cannot reveal the truth.
