The new film “United 93” should be the weekend activity of choice for Americans who want to show their patriotic support of the United States and to the families who lost someone on that fateful day, Sept. 11, 2001.
Despite cries of “too early” from some critics, all 40 families are in support of the film and were satisfied that it was done in a respectful way.
Jim Laychak, president of the Pentagon Memorial Fund, said, “Any time the event is talked about; it helps bring back those memories. While the movie focuses on one of the tragedies, it really sheds light on all of them.”
This movie is being released tomorrow by Universal, and 10% of the weekend’s box-office grosses will go to the Flight 93 National Memorial near Shanksville, Pa. Click here to read more.
